Epic Builders

Engaged with Epic and had nothing but problems. They lacked in communication, demanded money before the job was completed, and then filed a suit against us even though they violated the contract. They did the same thing with multiple other people. Trace even sued his own cousin, and she was the book keeper on the project. Run from this contractor unless you want to spend more money and time in court than on your project. UPDATE COMMENTS FROM 06/19/19 - Trace simply could not finish the job he promised. List after list, month after month -- after being 3 months late on the project with suspect quality, I unfortunately ended up needing to stop him from doing any more work. The final straw was when he even threatened physical violence against me and my kids (exact words: I am going to F you up and your kid). Afterwards, Trace did not pay the electrician, and so I ended up with a lien on my house for a short period of time. In my opinion, Epic Builders and Trace Brooks are not able to adequately complete a job.
