Large tree on our house. Eric responded very quickly,looked at the problem, gave us a price. Price was reasonable. He was out the next day, tree gone and everything cleaned up. Excellent a real pro.

Eric Shaw knows what he's doing! I had a really big project for him: take down 2/3 of a huge silver maple that was threatening to fall on neighbor's yard and fence. He did all of the tree reduction himself after getting up to considerable heights to do the massive cutting in his bucket truck, while his all-business two man crew continually transported tree cuttings of sizes over to the wood chipper that would devour them. Eric has all of the hardcore equipment -- the bucket truck to tackle all sizes of trees quickly, a mega wood chipper that can churn up all but the biggest parts of the tree; a front end loader to transport the heavy tree parts; a flat bed diesel truck designed to carry the large trunks. It seems like he makes money by removing your trees and then selling the byproducts -- the wood chips for mulch, wood for firewood and large tree pieces sold for/as lumber. I think this is how he was able to beat the estimates of the various other tree specialists I contacted. You may not get quite as good a deal as I did if your project is smaller, but I'd be sure to contact him for an estimate. Also, upon my request, he had his insurer send me his current proof of insurance.

Eric Shaw arrived at the scheduled time with a crew of 3 others to remove 3 large trees from my property and grind the stumps. All of the individuals were personable, professional, efficient, and hard working. When they completed the project, they left my property in the same condition that they found it.........they were extremely neat and thorough in their cleanup efforts. I wanted a tree company with a professional approach, versatile tree removal skills, and competitive pricing. After getting 5 estimates, I decided to hire Eric Shaw Tree and Logging Company and I am very pleased that I made that decision. He does EXCELLENT work!

Excellent experience. These guys were professionals. They took down an old dead oak in about an hour and then cleaned everything up so i couldn't tell they had been there (except the tree had vanished). They are like a SWAT team for trees--in and out, problem solved.

Did a good job at a great price, hundreds of dollars less than competitors. The only issue is that the ground was wet when they came out, so the trucks left deep wheel ruts.

Eric and his crew were extremely professional. 50 ft cherry tree fell on my house during wind rain storm. I contacted home advisor and had two contractor visits within hours. Eric had lower price and less hassle bid. Eric had crew on site and tree removal within hours. No problems.

responded, personally, to my request for service within one hour; developed a plan immediately; gave me a free estimate for all the work before he left; came to work exactly on time (date and time); started work at 8:00am and completed work, including all clean up, at 7:30pm with very few breaks; superior work - - nothing was damaged; good customer service skills. Eric is one of the best contractors I have had come to our house. If I needed this type of service again, I would hire him in a minute (probably less). Outstanding!
