Custom Cabinets - Build
As Eric Triplett makes a bid on your house for a job he is very convincing on how well he operates and how you feel your home investment will be in good professional hands , but he doesn't complete the job. THIS GUY IS NO PROFESSIONAL. Now he wants to put a MECHANICES LEIN against us for a job that he walked out on and never completed. I hired (ERIC) to buy and install laminate countertops for my kitchen. My wife and I had supplied the backsplash. It was a present for our 33rd year anniversary. 1) Eric ordered the wrong countertop it was supposed to have a Barcelona edge and have the 3 or 4 inch back splashed so he could set our backslash on and build up.He told us when we received it that was the only way that this particular color came in but he would make it beautiful with the backsplash we supplied. 2) Eric did not have all the tools with him to complete the job so I had to loan him some tools (like the WET POWER SAW) to cut my backsplash, he also does not clean up after he is done, my family had walked on cut glass and cut there finger on the backsplash that he installed. 3) He cut the hole for my kitchen sink too BIG now my sink leaks and it holds water as it leans to far to the back. 4) He broke a small edge of the countertop and blamed it on the manufacture he bought it from. 5) While waiting an extra 2 weeks to order another piece of counter that he broke, he started to install the backsplash it is not straight on the wall and looks awful. 6) He brought the small piece out counter top back and set it down an when I was explaining to him that the middle counter where the kitchen sink is leaking and that I have to put buckets under the sink to catch the water. Eric told me he would resolve it problem and he would also fix my glass backsplash it was far from being done correctly and he said he need to go and order more supplies and he never came back. 6) Eric then served me with a letter threating to put a lien on my home even though he would not contact me to finish the job and all my kitchen supplies are in boxes next to my unfinished kitchen. Now I have to hire an attorney, then go to court make sure the lien comes off my property. To resolve my new kitchen disaster I must get fixed I will have to hire a real contractor to do the job that Eric was supposed to do; I had another contractor come out and review all the work that Eric has done and says that they must remove all the backsplash and redo all the counter tops. Next I must pay to have the backsplash removed and rebuy then reinstall I am 73years old and feel that I am being taken advantage of by this contractor; I prepaid two hundred dollars as a "down payment" until the job is completed he would receive the remaining balance once the job is complete, with this letter I was served Eric wants me to pay MORE then we had originally agreed upon and he is not including the two hundred dollars I had previously already paid him. PLEASE BEWARE!!! DISASTER CONTRACTOR
