They're very responsive. There were some trouble with the system but they got it. They were persistent and got it fixed. There were problems with the system. I'm not sure whose fault it was that there were problems with a brand new system. I think it was very reasonable.

He replaced the furnace oil filter and informed me that nothing more needed to be done with the type furnace I had. His posted price on Angie's List was $59.00. He charged me $75.00, and it had to be paid in cash. I continued to experience problems and found a highly qualified repair company on Thumb Tack. He arrived today, and literally took the furnace completely apart to clean it. It was totally gross...full of soot, rusted out parts, totally clogged nozzle, etc. His fee was $99.00, but was well worth it. He stated that what I observed him doing was what any reputable service technician routinely did. He said that he could get it running again, but suggested he didn't consider it the safe thing to do. After seeing the condition of the unit, I asked what it would cost to replace the unit. I researched the prices for comparable units on line and elected to purchase and have him install a new furnace. If anyone needs highly professional HVAC service, contact D.G. Luyster, Salisbury, MD. I highly recommend him. Kudo's is a fraud! I spent $75.00 for a $5.00 oil filter.

Absolutely horrible. details above. All I know is this is not what I bought from Angie's list. I have had this deal before and the tech did what the offer said. Not this guy. I wondering what is Angie's procedure when a company wants to do a deal? I hope this is not what is intended. I was very disappointed. <br /> He was a very pleasant person to talk to, very polite, very knowledgeable. But, I did not see any of this in my service. <br />

"At the time of my visit the heat pump equipment needed no cleaning . I did hove ever check the system to make sure the system was heating the condo. Maybe i did not make myself clear to (member name removed), that i offered to make a later service call at no charge, in warmer weather when we could check out the system Freon charge and possibly raise the condensing unit off the ground. The only additional charges would be for materials and Freon that where not covered in the original service call. The normal service call charges are 75.00$ for the first hour then 50.00$ per hour there after. Please let me know what (member name removed) would like to do regarding this."

The engineer came out but it took a couple of days. There were some other faults with the problem. It wasn't just necessarily a tune-up problem. He found some other things wrong and basically addressed that as well. They got in contact with me quickly. For the deal, there were no additional charges but there were some other things wrong with the heating and air conditioning unit that needed to be addressed that were outside of what was covered. I was okay with that. Everything's working fine now. He needed additional parts. He completed the job in three days.

I was very pleased both times. It is clear that I am nursing along an old system and it so wonderful to have found someone willing to help me do that. I know eventually I will need to replace the system but just got through two summers with no problems. I am so grateful not to have been pushed into believing that I needed to replace the system yet. Many companies just want to make a sale and are not so willing to help you maintain.

Pretty surprised on his take on the situation, I tried to explain before he came out (infinity hybrid system), in the winter works off of propane gas. Didn't go as expected.

<p>It was low on Freon. He had all the equipment (and supplies) necessary to fix the trouble and even offered up advice on what to do with an older unit. Plus added a sealant to help with any micro leaks we may have had. </p> <p>He was very professional, I would recommend him to my neighbors.</p> <br />

Routine maintenance on my furnace. He really didn't DO much of anything. He was extremely nice, but I don't think I got good service at all. <br />

Kudo's showed up on time, found out the problem ordered the parts and finished the repair in a timely manner. <br /> Living in Delaware and trying to find a reliable repair person can sometimes be impossible, but Harold, from Kudo's <br /> Service showed up on time, when he said he would, followed up with phone calls and kept me informed on the status <br /> of the parts he ordered...and came when he said he would and did the repairs...I was very pleased with the whole outcome. <br /> I will definately use Kudo's again <br />

Mr. Lewis was very accommodating of my schedule. He provided service on a Saturday even though he did not have Saturday hours. There was a service I requested that he was not certain how to proceed. He returned on Sunday to obtain some identifying info from my heating unit and then he said he would do some research on how the service could be done. Mr. Lewis was very good about explaining what he was doing and the pros and cons of my options. <br /> I would use him again without reservation. <br />

Kudos was very punctual,polite and professional and quite knowledgeable.Best of all he was a very "down to earth" friendly repairman and even explained things as he conducted his repair job.He had tyo order my 'hard to locate and get part for my old A/C unit, and upon returning back to my home to replace and repair the A/C unit, he even brought my pet Chocolate Lab a couple doggie treats.Now that's going out of your way to providing good ,"friendly" service. I highly recommend him.He got the "ol SEARS A/C unit running good again.I didn't even think he would even be able to locate the parts, but he came thru and did a very good job. <br />

When I tried to contact KUDO (since they did not contact me), it seemed that there was a misunderstanding as to the location of the service. I called Angie's list customer service who informed me that I had not made a mistake and that I should insist on the service to be performed at the DE location. An appointment was set up for Monday 30 June 2014. When the KUDO technician came, he could not even vaccum the AC per lack of flexibility. I had to help him with the vaccuum cleaner. He then informed me that I needed more freon for which he charged me an additional $ 175.00. I asked for a receipt, he said he could not give me one. <br /> Though the gentleman was very courteous, the type of service I received, for $ 59.00 (special offer) and the $ 175.00 couldhave been performed by PENNINSULA (did it last) year for $ 69.00. <br /> <br /> <br />

"The posting on angiestlist gave only a cheverly, md address and no phone number. I replied to the posting giving our 800 number. when [Member] finally called i was given a delaware address and a cell number. I then setup a service call time a day. I have no idea what the reference to flexibility is. The $175.00 charge was for freon do to the unit being under charged. Some of the local contractors woud have charged as much as $ 270.00 for the same 3 lbs. I am sorry tha [Member] is so dissatisfied. We try our best."

pleasant older fellow with high expertise no leak discovered but changed a shrader valve for me at no charge as it was slightly corroded and could have been the problem though not detectable. did not charge me for the valve recharged the system with r22 that i provided with the advice that if it blead down again it probably was the compressor gone bad which would entail replacing both major components. i did not ask for a quote on that possibility. <br /> was well pleased with the service performed and have since gone to window units since i cannot afford the repair at this time. but will contact him again when i am ready to spend the cash. <br />
