Electrical Wiring or Panel Upgrade
Evans Electric Co. and their workers were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We had just purchased a house with a Zinsco electrical panel and a whole house low-voltage lighting system. Evans Electric Co. upgraded the panel to a much larger and much safer Square D panel. They then ran all new wire to every room, allowing us to have modern/normal 110v switches at all rooms. They went above and beyond by separating all of the fans and the light kits in the rooms so they would be individually switched. They also made all of our outlets hot, as some were also hooked into the low voltage switches. Mr. Evans was flexible with our schedule and accommodating when I switched the scope at the last minute with three other items I needed added on the estimate. Bryant and Roger were very informative and answered all questions I had without being condescending. The were very professional and outgoing. Evans Electric Co. helped get our house up to code and we would definitely hire them again in the future.

Don and Roger were very concerned about doing the job right. They wired our Endless Pool and were very concerned about using high quality wire and attaching the wire to the beams in our drop ceiling so we wouldn't have problems in the future.

Home Advisor gave me the phone number of Evans Electric for the job I had done. Needed an outside light that comes on at dark and goes off in the morning. Had the same fixture put up last year by another Electrician, he charges me $239.00 total.Evans Electric took a picture so to get the very same one ,the wiring and everything was there ,they just took the old one down and put up the new one. When I got the bill almost had a heart attack. They charged me $696.00 the fixture itself only cost $199.00 the rest was labor and travel expense,their office is 10 miles from my house. Wrote a letter to the owner told him how outrages that was paid the bill but never heard another word back. Please do not refer them to anyone else ,especially seniors on fixed income it took a chunk out of my monthly pay.

Don Evans and 2 of his workmen came to look over the job. Don sat in the dining room while his workmen looked over the situation. The workmen poked holes in the ceiling tile to locate electrical wiring and said they could not locate what they were looking for and left. Much later, I receive a bill from Don Evans for $800.00. I refuse to pay this bill. I hired another electrical contractor and he fixed the problem for $40.00 The time involved was 25 minutes.

I would also like to comment Don and his workmen were never at your house at the same time, So I am uncertain why you mentioned that in your review. Unfortunately, some electrical issues can be hard to locate. We were at your house a total of 2 days and at the end of the second day I informed you that I felt we located the issue by process of elimination and would be back to fix the problem. We tried multiple times to reach out to you and set up a time for us to return; however, that was unsuccessful."
