Evans Exteriors

We hired Evans Exteriors through and realized it was a horrible mistake. They were hired to replace the siding on our house; we were told 3 to 4 weeks - it was 16 - yes, sixteen weeks. The job site was a total mess the entire project, and on two 3-day weekends there was so much trash, supplies, and equipment on our patio it was unusable. The pile of trash on the side of our driveway was there the entire project. The workers obviously had no idea of how to apply the James Hardy concrete siding, and the owner was rarely on-site to supervise or teach them. The flashing used with this siding is still horrible, even after 2 months of asking for it to be fixed the siding cuts are best described as childish and unprofessional. siding boards with broken corners and cracks were put up, and there are still numerous nail holes on the siding. The solution for the crooked, uneven, and short cuts was to cover the space with caulking - there is more caulking on our house than there is trim paint! The inexperience, and lack of property concern, of the workers, also showed by the need to replace 6 screens on our windows because they were damaged when removing the old siding and by putting up the new siding. Excuses were the norm when we brought anything up - it was always someone else fault - we did not care to hear who has fault it was, we just wanted it fixed. Promises to correct things were made throughout the project and they were forgotten as soon as they were made (evident by the fact that we had to constantly remind them of things that were to be done); We had to resort to printing out pages and pages of photos and repeatedly making lists of things that we wanted fixed due to the poor workmanship and uncaring attitudes. In the end WE finished the touch-up painting, WE reattached internet and tv cables to the house, WE re-installed the patio lights, and I lost count of the number of screws and nails we picked up from our yard and driveway. Not a good experience at all.

Evan's Exteriors did an outstanding job! They not only painted, they also replaced or repaired shingle siding. Both Tim and Andre are excellent craftsman. They are excellent about details.
