Evans Home Inspections
About us
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce my services as a professional home and building inspector. Evans Home Inspections is locally owned and operated. I have over six years experience as a professional residential and commercial inspector. I am licensed as a residential/commercial building inspector and general contractor. Having been in the residential and commercial building industry for twenty-six years, I have first hand experience in inspecting, designing, quality control, and repairing residential/commercial structures. As a U. S. Army Corps of Engineer construction supervisor for over twenty-years, I was responsible for inspecting, quality control, designing, building and repairing structures in six states, and eight foreign countries. I took part in disaster relief efforts for four years with FEMA as an Engineer Action Officer and during hurricanes Andrew and Mitch. During Hurricane Andrew I was responsible for the utility operations for two nine hundred bed tent cities and during Hurricane Mitch I was responsible for inspecting and quality control for the construction of ten schools in the Dominican Republic for the Alabama National Guard. I am a FEMA certified Housing Disaster inspector #16467 and took part in relief efforts in Virginia Sept/Oct 2003 and Florida, Alabama Aug-Oct 2004. From the time you call Evans Home Inspections to schedule a home inspection, to the time the transaction is complete, you will find that we will make every effort possible to make the inspection process simple and effective. Every Evans Home Inspection report includes a 500 plus computer generated item inspection report packaged in an easy to reference three ring binder. If you have any questions before or after the inspection, please feel free to call me. I look forward to doing business with you soon.
