We hired Everything Residential to remodel our master and guest bath. When Everything Residential comes to your house to quote a potential job be sure to get any we will take care of that types of comments on the contract before you sign. Otherwise, you will see the charge on a future invoice for that verbal promise during their sales pitch. Any promises from them need to be in writing. Also, put in the contract they need to give you a 48-72 hour heads up before they are coming to your house to perform work. If not, they will e-mail you late the night before and say they are coming over the next morning. They do not care if you have work the next day, conference calls, summer vacation plans, etc. If you ask them to reschedule the work, they will charge you a $250 change order fee and claim you are not giving them access to your home. You work for them; they do not work for you in the relationship when you sign a contract with Everything Residential. While they were remodeling our master bath, they caused 4 water leaks that did drywall damage to our kitchen pantry, garage ceiling, kitchen ceiling, and wall in the master bedroom. While repairing the leak to my garage ceiling they said they would repaint the garage. Again, another empty promise was not fulfilled. They were not using a licensed plumber to do any of the plumbing work. They never finished the guest bath after I paid all contractual obligations upfront. I had to pay other contractors to finish the guest bathroom.

Everything Residential's pricing came in much higher than other bids but was the only licensed contractor to respond to my backyard and driveway concrete project. The contractor disappeared for weeks to over a month at a time since receiving 80% of the funds for the job. Finally coming to my house for the "final prep" and setting the forms, they said they grossly underestimated the areas for work and are now asking for an additional 50% of the original contract in order to complete the work. During their time in my yard, they pulled up new plumbing, creating a flood in my and my neighbor's yard. They pulled up electrical wiring, without testing to see if there was power, which shorted power to my house and costing money to replace spoiled food, etc. They piled rock and debris against my RV gate causing the hinges to bend and it to come off part of the foundation. When I mentioned this, they at first said the gate was like this (which it was not) then said their contract stated they were not responsible for any damages whatsoever.

Nice guys, and they did a great job. They were even nice enough to come back later to do the trim even though I didn't have the materials the first time out. I'd definitely hire them again.

My dream of remodeling my kitchen seemed like an impossibility. My house was built in 1968 and in desperate need of an update. Three contractors quoted me $30,000 over my budget just to remodel the kitchen. I felt discouraged. Then I found Everything Residential. I spoke to the owner, Randy to discuss what I wanted. He treated me as if I was his most important customer. Randy gave me ideas and he kept it within my budget. Everything Residential designed a new look for my kitchen completed additional work and finished on time. If you want an honest contractor who will put you first, choose Everything Residential!

I called everything Residential for and appointment to discuss a home addition we needed to find a contractor and had no idea on what we even wanted. We set with Randy he had great ideas on our options. They provided us with a free design team. After all the details where worked out and all permits where in order Christian and his crew started the construction process. It went very smooth and the work area was kept very clean. I highly recommend and will higher this company again. You can see the final product of our new addition on their website. www.everythingresidential.house Debbie C Scottsdale

Never finished the job. Left with a hole in the wall.
Response from Everything Residential
"On this job customer chose to keep old back splash tile. We informed them that we are not responsible for that back splash in our contract. I have a text offering a price to fix the back splash. I received no response that was in March. On 4-1-20 i sent over a job complete final invoice. We never recieved a call for hole or any problem with the job. Our goal is to state our contract clearly and finish every job Clean, Complete and at the highest quality. I looked at the contract and communication of texts there was no communication about a hole and we where never responded to on repair estimate. We are continually trying to improve our contracts and communication and will humbly admit when we make a mistake. There was no mistake on this job. Thank you, ER management"

The concrete footer for the fence was so poorly done that the fence installer would not use it and it had to be removed. Because of this, we were without a backyard fence for a month until they were able to put us back on the schedule. This was a great inconvenience! In addition, we paid for several feet of concrete footer that was never used because the fence would not have been tall enough with the porch to meet code requirements. We had to pay regardless. I am responding to Everything Residential (ER) response to a review from my wife (Debbie D. on 1/30/20). The concrete footing was poured **perfectly** the second time. That was after long discussions with my son-in-law who has worked at concrete companies, who told Christian what to do and how to do it. By my calculations we were overcharged by $7500, and we still had the patio roof and a gazebo to be built. Christian admitted in an email that by ER calculations they overcharged us by $4,525.33. Then they promptly charged us $700 for installing 5 posts for the patio roof before work was halted. Now they admit that they owe us $3,825.33, but they have not re-paid us this amount yet. We are just trying to recover what we are owed, but Randy believes we are trying to EXTORT him. I suggest that he invest in a good dictionary and look up the definition of extortion. While he has the dictionary open, he might want to look up the definition of SLANDER and LIBEL as well. The company having a 4.61 rating might also have something to do with threatening to place a lien on the homes of costumers, as Randy did in a text message to me, when I was trying to resolve this dispute without the use of litigation. That ship has sailed.
Response from Everything Residential
"Yes the original footer was poured wrong. But ! it was removed (5 tons) within 5 days. and re-poored perfectly at no cost to the customer. This family tried to extort us by trying to get $8500 then $4500. with many meetings with our attourney, architect and all mangers. we made our final fair offer. mistakes do happen. It is how you handle them that keeps a 4.61 out of 5 star rating. We will learn from this! I wish Debbie D and her family the best of luck. ER Management."
