I cannot say enough good things about Stephen Anson and Evolution Kitchens and Baths. Stephen is the full package â he is professional and personable, heâ s creative and practical, and he truly has his customerâ s best interest at heart. Stephen did our full kitchen renovation and redid the floors in our whole house. He helped us with our timeline and quite honestly, HE was the one who kept US on track. He is extremely knowledgeable, has built relationships with trusted vendors, and knew the dates we needed to order each piece by in order to meet our final goal on time. Not only that, Stephen would check in with us as weâ d get closer to each deadline to make sure what needed to be ordered was ordered which I truly appreciated. Stephen has a creative eye and helped us through the whole process. Stephen made it easy even for someone like me, a person who is not creative and not good at making decisions. He is as hands on or hands off with decisions as you want him to be. We needed hand holding; Stephen gave us options and advice for literally every decision we made and helped us keep to our budget. Stephen goes above and beyond and he works day in and day out like it is his own home. He could have easily gone through the motions and we would have been satisfied but he takes it a step further and asked us about things that as first-time homeowners didnâ t even cross our mind. Would you like your trash can in the cabinet? Would you like lights under the cabinets? Did you want to keep this track lighting? Home design and decorating is completely overwhelming to me and I was very nervous but I can honestly say he made a total kitchen makeover easy. I cannot recommend Stephen enough, and cannot wait to work with him again when we decide to upgrade our bathrooms.

Stephen was amazing to work with! He redid my very aged bathroom and then converted my laundry room into a 1/2 bath and laundry room. My house was built in the 50's and has hosted a wide variety of DIY and professional home renovators over the years, so that means there is an abundance of surprises when doing work on it. Stephen was creative, flexible, and able to come up to the solution to every problem that arose from the house. His prices are extremely fair for the quality of work he does. But my favorite part of working with him was his communication - I knew exactly what was going on, if he was running even a few minutes late each day he would let me know, gave me plenty of updates as projects progressed, and would make recommendations along the way. Would recommend Evolution Bath & Tile any day.

Stephen of Evolution is a thoughtful, energetic, talented craftsman. He saw possibilities in our bathroom that other contractors that we considered missed and he made it a space to be proud of. We were impressed with his excellent array of skills and we were pleased that he kept us informed of the process every step of the way, often offering choices on things that we had not considered. Above all we appreciated his commitment to the timetable we agreed upon. He gave us a finish date upfront and the bathroom was done on that date. In fact we negotiated to do some other work in the house and it was still all finished on time. Having worked with a lot of folks over the years, thats an important consideration. Superior work, done on time, at a reasonable price is a hard combination to beat. We will use him again.

Evolution Bath is the best. Stephen's work is AAA+. His work is meticulous. He did the bathroom tile around our tub along with open shelves in the wall that came out beautiful. His attention to detail was great. He also install new flooring in the bathroom and laundry room. In addition, he knows plumbing and electrical as well. He installed new bathtub shower fixture and moved electric boxes for lights and plug-in outlets. He does it all. With all the installations he as done, you can pick his brain for ideas and comes up with great design suggestions. Always on time and cleans up after himself. He respects your home. I would recommend him to everyone.

Stephen did an extraordinary job remodeling our bathroom. He tore out the tub, tiled and installed a new shower, laid new flooring, and installed a new vanity. He was very communicative and always texted us when he was arriving. Stephen's quote on the project was far better than anyone that we got and he finished the remodel in 7 days. His work was excellent and I highly recommend him for any project you need done.

Stephan was super great to work with and we have had so many compliments on our finished kitchen. He asked us what we were looking for and came back with additional suggestions that we would have never thought about that only made our finished kitchen all the better. He steered us away from things that might not have worked out but always had a suggestion to put in place. He is a great communicator, letting you know when he will be over and what he planned to do on a given day. He did all the research for me on appliances and worked to get everything done on time and under budget! As a project manager myself, I can't say how often that doesn't happen. I am more than happy to recommend Evolution Bath and Tile (and Kitchen!) for all your remodeling needs. I have already recommended him to friends and family. Will definitely use again if I have the chance.

Excellent! We had Evolution Baths convert a strange storage area into an additional three-quarter bathroom. We got over 9 different quotes from 6 different contractors and not only was Stephenâ s the best (cohesiveness, price, breakdown), but his personality and demeanor made it an easy choice. Stephen was respectful (e.g. asking us when we had meetings while working from home so it wasnâ t too noisy or when he could shut the water off and would wear a mask when we were in close quarters chatting about the project), on-time (e.g. he would text us in the morning daily when he was on his way and he stayed within his proposed timeline), kind (honestly with COVID, he was nice company to have around the house), hard-working (e.g. longer hours the first few days to get a handle on the project gave us a sense of calm not knowing what could be lurking between the walls, willingness to do the little bit extra to make the areas around the new construction look nice), and good craftsmanship (the finished product looks soo good â we are very pleased). He kept to his word and went above and beyond in some areas. Overall, â smooth and successfulâ . We would hire him again in a heartbeat (and might for another project soon).

Stephen was great to work with every step of the way. I completely remodeled my kitchen and mud room in an older house with some unique dimensions. Early on he had great suggestions about products, cabinet design, and rearrangement of the old kitchen layout to improve layout and space. It gave me lots of things to consider including several that I hadn't even thought of. During the process, he accurately estimated the time frame of construction, and was very communicative in terms of letting me know every day when he would arrive. He also involved me in all of the small decisions during construction as they came up and discussed the pros/cons of each option. There was a fair bit of customized cabinetry installation that was needed due to existing walls not being straight and on-site design. The end result looks great with straight lines and everything flush. I'm really pleased with the end result!

We hired Stephen for a complete master bathroom remodel, and couldnâ t be happier with the entire experience. Stephen is not your average contractor, he is an incredibly detailed craftsman who communicates with his clients perfectly. The planning process was well thought out, and still allowed room for any issues that may have popped up. Stephen is also phenomenal at creating a schedule and sticking to it. If he was going to be even three minutes outside of the time he stated, weâ d receive a timely call with an update. He is also very helpful throughout the process, helping select materials, fixtures, and anything else you can think of. He worked long days, handled a few unexpected adjustments (based on the design of the house itself), was always on time, and most importantly, was incredibly pleasant to be around. He invited us to see his work throughout the process, which I found to be a relief. He explained things in detail, and in a way we understood. I will gladly welcome Evolution Bath and Tile (AKA Stephen) back into our home when our next project rolls around. Considering we found him on HomeAdvisor, we couldnâ t be happier with the entire experience, as well as his exceptional quality of work! We were trying to figure out what other projects we could use him for while he was still midway through this project. If you would like to plan a project, have it carried out to perfection, exactly within your established budget, all while knowing exactly when the contractor will be on site, Evolution and Stephen should DEFINITELY be on your list! The communication was excellent and he went above and beyond. We did not have to search the internet for products, he would send me links through text for suggestions and I had very limited searching to do since he made it easier. He kept our home very clean, he covered our floors and was very respectful of our home and very trustworthy. We gave him a code to our door to come to our house when we were not there. What I wanted corrected he made it right. He was very timely and on top of everything. I would highly recommend him he is a top notch contractor!!!

I can't say enough incredible things about Evolution Baths! Stephen is one of the most hardworking and passionate contractors I have ever met. He recently redid the floors in our entire home, painted, created a new bedroom, completed a bathroom remodel, and added all new doors in under two weeks. Not only was it done exceptionally fast, everything was done with perfection. Every morning he reached out to communicate his plan and discuss any possible concerns he had. He always stayed true to our budget and did everything he could be to be as cost-effective as possible. Overall, he made the whole process fun and a dream come true for us. We look forward to having him complete more projects for us in the future!

My two bath remodels are stunning! Stephen has multiple skills so no need to hire a team. Simple things yet important communication- he emailed me each day to let me know his ETA. He was flexible and had a good attitude when we requested changes to the layout or design midstream. ( Not that I recommend that- but things are sometime more visually clear in the midst of the building process) So he was able to relocate the shower, move the drain, change the location of the sinks, add can lights and added crown molding and wall wainscoting trim. A complete job, well executed and for thousands less than our other two bids. Excellent workmanship- I have already recommended him to a family member, my realtor and friends. Super job Stephen!

First off there aren't enough good words available to express our joy with this whole project. Stephen was amazing to work with from start to finish. He made this whole project so easy. You never know what you're going to get yourself into when starting a project with a contractor that you don't know. He gave us such high customer service that made us feel incredibly comfortable through the whole experience. The high level of customer service was unparalleled to anything we've ever dealt with before. He went above and beyond all of our expectations. We needed a whole new bathroom, I mean a WHOLE NEW BATHROOM. Stephen did just that, he gave us a whole new bathroom. He did all the drywall,a new tub/shower, a new toilet, installed our new vanity, new lighting, hung cabinets and mirrors, did all the plumbing and electrical. He's amazing. It is now the nicest room in our house. We keep marveling over it. I'm not even sure I'm in the right house sometimes. His card says "excellent communication & anxiety free remodeling" that is exactly what he delivered. He was in constant contact with us from day one and had great suggestions, never pressuring us. Friends of mine have already asked for his contact information and I've sent it on to them. If you are looking for someone who is kind, courteous, honest and cares then look no further.

I would recommend Stephen to anybody that wants to do their bathroom or kitchen over I had several people come and he was one of the most reasonable and he was here when he said he was going to be here he was reliable and trustworthy as far as I am concerned he did a fantastic job for a very happy my wife and I. I have used Stephen for several different projects for the home, he has done a couple bathroom renovations, a kitchen renovation, a bit of framing in basement, some drywall work and some minor electrical and plumbing. I have known Stephen for a long time and he has always done great work. He is very personable and easy to get along with. I have found him to be reliable and have already referred him to several friends of mine.He has always been punctual and has always completed the job in a timely manner. There was not any major changes once the projects had been started, he always knew what could potentially go wrong and was prepared to handle it as any issues came up. He is very knowledgeable about his line of work and I've never had an issue with any of his work. I strongly recommend him to anyone.

He redid our master bath. It was a beautiful quartz with a vanity and tiled our shower with some beautiful tile. The beauty of the master bath helped us sell it.
