Called for an appointment during the recent heat wave. The appointment was a week out, which I understand a lot of people might have been in need like me. I was told their technicians were getting appointments done head of schedule and it might be earlier than the appointment provided. Two days later I received a call that a technician could be out later today if I would like. Of course I took the earlier appointment. Tony, showed up, asked what seemed to be the problem. Listened to me. Then checked a couple of things. He was able to fix the issue quickly. He did recommend me replacing my HVAC system because of the age. No pressure sales pitch. This was NOT a repair, just a service. You should add that to your list of options. In that regard, though, the service tech was polite and professional. He worked within the timeframe he said he would, and we would hire this company again.

We had two 4 ton complete split central air units that were 16 years old and needed to be replaced. Excel first looked for ways to extend the life of our current units so that we would not have to buy new units immediately. Without going into details in our case I decided the units should be replaced. I had one of the most advertised ac install companies also bid the project. Excelâ s price was much better for the complete installation with comparable Seer rated equipment and high quality parts including secondary pans and automatic cut-off sensors. My confidence in Excelâ s quality is really because the owner Alex is an HVAC engineer and he planned the install and then oversaw their 4 person crewâ s work both in the attic and outside. Excel simplified the drainage system in the attic in a way that the original homebuilder should have done. This should reduce the chances of any leaks in the coming years, something I appreciate Excel caring about. From Art the person quoting the job to the entire install team they were all very professional and I could tell they take pride in their work and wanted to do the job the right way because the quality matters to themselves. They were not just trying to take the easy way. I observed this attention to detail in their testing and re-testing each others work to make sure that they had done the install right. I had several concerns about airflow to several rooms due to the way the original ductwork was installed, they took the time to address my concerns and the end result is an amazingly cool house that has excellent airflow. Without any reservation I highly recommend Alex and Art and their team for heating and cooling systems. I am sure they will solve your problem at a low price and with high quality work. They are also very responsive giving me their direct cell phones if I encounter any problems. I know this is a long comment but having built a customer service medical business myself I am willing to recommend people that go the extra mile for me and Excel did that for us. This is the only comment I have made for a home vendor, I normally don't take the time.

Efficient and professional staff. They installed an attic fan for us. Our attic access is in a difficult spot and they were careful to take good care of our home.

Very professional from initial evaluation through installation. They went the extra mile and did a fantastic job, and explained everything along the way.

They were efficient and friendly.

While the tech was supposed to come between 10am and 12pm, I never received a call the he would be late. I had to call and inquire. It then took almost an hour between receiving a text that the tech was on his way to when we actually showed up at 2:15pm. Having said this, Jason, the technician, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He was quick to assess the issue and share information. I was very pleased with that part of the call and service experience! Jason is a keeper!

Excel Air responded to my Angi post almost immediately and set up a time to inspect my 33 year old furnace. Excel Air sent reminders of the appointment the day before and the technicians arrival the day of. The technician, Javier was courteous, knowledgeable, and neat in his work. He showed me the condition of my furnace, cleaned it very thoroughly, and replaced a major part all within 2 hours. He said that I could get the repairs and if I still needed to replace the furnace the repair costs could be discounted from the replacement cost. I am extremely happy I went with Excel Air and heartily recommend them.

After I inquired on Home Advisor, Excel Air immediately responded with a phone call on a Sunday. They were able to come to my home on Monday morning with the correct thermostat for my needs. I was very impressed with their response, so much so that I also hired them to completely replace my heating system as it is the better part of 30+ years old. It has not yet been installed but when they get all of the parts in, they will be installing it.
