overcharged for most of his products and services. Spent 3 hours to find out we needed a new receiver and universal remote. added $200. to the cost of receiver and 300. to the remote. Called him out and he took 180. off the bill.

These reviews seem fraudulent. We hired Barry to install a sound system and cameras in our commercial space. In writing, we agreed to pay a large 50% deposit upfront and then the remaining 50% within 5 days of completion. The NIGHT before the job, Barry demanded another $6,000 (25% of the job) to cover the cost of equipment. His behavior was always "off" but became more erratic and stranger in past few weeks. I feel like I was completely scammed.

Back in the summer we hired Mr. Barry, owner of Elite A/V of SW Florida, to install multiple TVs and related home theater equipment, receivers, mounting equipment at our commercial facility. What started as a straightforward job turned into a complete nightmare. Instead of setting everything up properly under our accounts, he slyly registered all the equipment in his own name and Gmail address. Now, weeks later, we're stuck battling manufacturers just to regain access to gear we paid for outright! Barry has ghosted us?no returned calls, no emails, nothing. We foolishly paid him in full upfront, only to get shoddy, half-baked work that left us high and dry. This isn't just poor service; it's unethical and feels like a outright scam. Do yourself a favor: Research this guy thoroughly and steer clear. We're filing complaints with every board we can find. Total waste of time and money?stay away!

Barry has been in the business for a long time and is a true professional in his field. He did wonderful job installing my TV and sound system. In addition when I experienced an issue with the TV, Barry was right there to help me deal with the manufacture to get the issue totally resolved. I would highly recommend Barry for TV and sound installations.

He was fast and did a good job but I did NOT like the last minute extra charge of $25 above the quoted rate. I was quoted $100 and offered to pay in cash. When he arrived, he said that the swivel wall mount would be an extra $25. Had I known ahead of time, then I would?ve just booked it through Costo?s TV mounting service which is only $100.

Barry was efficient, knowledgeable and very reasonable for the 65â tv mount and sound bar job. He also had a few items in his truck that we didnâ t have to complete the job. His helper was also very helpful showing us how to maneuver through apps and channels with the remote.

Very good. Showed up, which puts him ahead of many other contractors. Showed up exactly on time which is practically unheard of in SWFL. I take away a half a star because they were supposed to bring an electrician who did not show up.
