Welcome to America's Choice Construction, LLC formerly Express Plumbing Inc. We have been proudly serving Franklin County since 2006. We are happy to announce that we have broadened our repair services to many other home improvement projects as well. Owner, Brian Lincoln, has been extremely active in the community. America's Choice Construction participates in the Franklin County Senior Options Home Repair Program, helping Senior Citizens with home maintenance and repairs. We did an extensive remodel on a 30 year old house. The available responses were very limiting..Brian and his crew remodeled one bathroom- replacing the tub and tiling the surround...they then created an entirely new bathroom from a small bedroom that included a shower, toilet, cabinet and sink. Moving on they then installed a dishwasher and new kitchen sink with faucet, a new water heater and a new main valve...the work was impaccable!!! I would highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.

Brian put the new elements on the hot water tank too tight. This caused more water damage causing us to have to pay $640 for a completely new hot water tank and installation. It was caused by Brian, but he denied it. Our second plumber said the damage was caused by the first plumber. I would NEVER use him again or refer his services. We did contact Brian before contacting the manufacturer a second time, and he indicated if he had to come back, we would have to pay another service call fee. Because of that, and he did it wrong the first time, there was no way we were going to do that. We did file a dispute with the credit card company, which checked into the matter, and agreed in his favor since he actually did do some of the work. However, as stated above, we had to pay $640 to take care of the problem that he created. This is why I would never recommend him to anyone.

"We are sorry you have a defective warrantied water heater. We had explained at the time of service that with all the corrosion on the elements that were removed, you may possibly experience other issues. This was no way the fault of America?s Choice. This is up to the customer to call the manufacturer and discuss the condition of their warrantied water heater. We do not offer any warranty on customer parts. Brian is a licensed plumber with over 20 years of experience and knows how to properly install a water heater element. Also please note that calling a different contractor to check another individual work is not always accurate."

They contacted me right away and scheduled my appointment the same. When Pete arrived he was very professional. He went above and beyond what I thought was required. He had to go into the attic and install a new mount for the ceiling fan. I will hire this company again when another project comes up.

Pete came out to our house to replace a bath fan. Didnt have to address the existing fan opening. I told him what I expected and he said he had to go to Lowes yo get the parts needed for the job. I agreed that was ok. I had the replacement fan and told him I wanted a rigid duct installed and a new vent installed on the roof. The new fan was a plug and play, no electrical had to be run. Pete worked hard and kept me posted along the way. When it was time to pay the bill he said it was $125 an hour and that the parts he bought at Lowes needed to be marked up so his boss could claim them on his taxes. Also I was on the hourly clock while he ran off to Lowes. My bill was $400. When I asked to see the receipt from Lowes he said he couldnt show me that and charged me $150 for parts. All in all Pete did a good job but said he waived the $50 estimate charge which we know they tacked onto the hourly charge. Who is worth $125 hour. Also Im a Senior Citizen. I didnt get the senior citizen treatment

"We sincerely appreciate your feedback. Our customers are very important to us. We work for seniors almost daily and value our seniors very much! All companies charge markup, it is standard business practice. We only charged 2 hours when the technician had 2.5 hours into the job giving you a discount. We were not provided the materials for the fan, so we had to supply these. Our customers are charged time for us to pick up supplies for their jobs. Sorry you were confused about billing but happy you were pleased with our hard working technician and the craftsmanship."
