Robert and his crew were terrific. They were very attentive to detail and easy to work with. They never cut corners and instead went above and beyond with my house painting. I enjoyed having them in our house and would definitely recommend them without reservation.

I was working on a tight timeline just before the holidays, and Robert called me back immediately -- within minutes. It was astonishing given the slower responses of other professional painters that I reached out to for estimates. He was professional, personable and knowledgable about every aspect of the painting job I needed to schedule. So it's no surprise that the project was completed quickly and with the highest attention to detail. I am new to the Pasadena area, and Robert was a treasure trove of helpful information about electricians and other local professionals that I needed to contact in order to get the house ready to move in on time and without issue. He is the master of "extra mile" effort, and I would hire him (and his team) again without any hesitation. When everything else about our move seemed to be so painfully difficult, it was a breath of fresh air to work with Robert and his team. They are trustworthy professionals committed to excellence.

Robert and his team were very quick with the project. Robert met with us as soon as we contacted him and started the job within a couple days. They painted the interior of our two-story house - most of the rooms needed to be painted - they also removed unneeded fixtures that were left behind by the previous owners. The house looks great.

Didn't give a full 5 stars as I had to call Robert three times to set up this job after he promised to call me back after my first 2 calls, yet didn't. However, once we got past the initial bad customer service, their service markedly improved. And the painting was completed quickly and professionally. I was very satisfied with the work. I would use the company again.

Robert Haines is a Pro. He is man of his word and heart of gold. Not many like him anymore!

Got a few quotes for the interior of the house to be painted and ceilings and Robert Haines was the most personable! He explained what he was going to do and started the next day. It was December 23rd so thought it was going to be delayed but he and his guys worked diligently and exceptionally to get the job done. Was very impressed with the work and crew. T hey were very professional and cleaned up at days end. I would recommend them highly to anyone. If you are looking for a painter, Robert is your man! He does what he says he is going to do and you will be happy with the results! A very honorable man!

I selected Robert Haines and Expression in Color because of the excellent reviews they received on Home Advisor. Now I would like to add my voice to the chorus of enthusiastic reviewers. When I first met Robert, I was impressed with his professionalism, his knowledge, and his ideas about possible color schemes for the rooms he was going to paint. When he came with his crew, Steve and Glen, they all arrived on time, and Steve and Glen set about prepping everything in short order. They completed the job even earlier than expected, and everything was perfect. As another reviewer said, don't look elsewhere, "these guys are professional, courteous, and dependable". Not only that, their overall expertise and knowledge about what they are doing is unsurpassed. They were very neat and careful about it all. If there were more than 5 stars, I would give them.

Was very happy upon completion of the job. Robert and his crew were very professional, very nice, showed up when they said they would. They were very considerate of my German Shepherd when she needed to go to the bathroom outside. They painted the trim and the exterior of the house. It is beautiful and I would recommend them to everyone.

Painted exterior house stucco and trim. Painted the interior throughout with trim and ceiling color different from walls. Did repair work on wood rot exterior and removed popcorn ceiling and competed with textured finish . Pricing was competitive. Quality very good. Timely start and completion of the job. Courteous and hardworking. Lots of good suggestions during the project process.

The work look great whn it was done. Their sense of urgency match mine. Robert's crew were very nice & professional.

They only do paint and acoustic ceiling removal so they know exactly what they are doing. Painting is these guys passion. No surprises or switch and bate. I hired Expression in Color to remove the popcorn ceiling from my townhome and to paint the interior. The work was done in the time promised and it looks absolutely beautiful. I was a novice to the process, and everything was explained to me in detail. There were no surprises! I felt confident leaving them to do the work and did not feel like I had to check up on them all the time. Overall, I could not have asked for a better result, and I would definitely recommend Expression in Color to a friend.

Robert and his crew did an outstanding job painting the exterior of my home. He called frequently to keep me updated, and stayed on schedule. The results were extraordinary. His crew's meticulous preparation (sanding, patching, etc.) resulted in an exceptional job. I was very pleased at the quality of the work for the price I paid. His work was so good that while painitng my home, he had serveral of my neighbors inquire about estimates to paint their homes. I highly recommend Expressions in Color without hesitation. I plan to use him again this fall to paint the interior of my home.

Robert Haines was extremely professional and takes enormous pride in his work. He was able to work with me over the phone (as I am some distance from the site) and kept in touch with me throughout the process. He did a beautiful job and I highly recommend him.

I am not only extremely pleased with Richard's work, but I appreciate the fact that he accepted the job request by phone since I was out of state on business. This was a time-sensitive project and he completed the work before even meeting me. He completed the job to my and the city of La Habra's satisfaction.

Expression in Color did not have the lowest quote and they were chose to paint the interior of my townhome due to the knowledge and detail explaination of how the job would be done. We felt confident that they would do a great job and we were not disappointed. The quality of the job was what we expected. Communication was good and Expression in Color followed up on what they said they were going to do. I would recommend Expression in Color to anyone looking for quality and professionalism over cheapest cost.
