Extreme Comfort was easy to do business with, very dependable, and had high quality!

We paid $11,370.46 in December of 2009 to rebuild 2 commercial electric heating systems for a 6-story building. He did partial work on one unit one day and has not returned since. Despite repeated phone calls he has not resumed work. He finally called today and still did not commit to return to complete the job. I am sending this to our attorney for breach of contract.

We had a very bad experience with exteme comfort hvac. THEY SCAMMED US!! they performed a diagnostic test and said we needed to get multiple parts fixed and that in order get the parts, we need to pay in advance. They called and said that they changed the parts and ever since they left, the heat has denietly not been working. It was in working condition before they came, and ever since they "fixed" it, our heat hasnt been working at all!!! We tried contacting them multiple times and have been unable to get a hold of them since. We payed them so much money and yet the heat isnt working. I would strongly recommend no one use their service.

Jim installed an aprilaire 700a humidifer on furnace. He was friendly at the time. According to jim, the humidifer had a defective board and needed replacemnt. He said he would do me a favor, since i had bought the humidifier online, and get me a replacement control board. The problem is, he has never called me back after leaving several messages. To get a new control board the installer(jim) has to file the warranty with aprilaire, the customer cannot. jim even warrantied the installation for five years, but will not honor his own warranty. Beware, he will no longer treat you like a customer once you pay him.

Extreme Comfort called me just seconds after issue my request through ServiceMagic. I needed my furnace cleaned, and my blower motor adjusted. Tony was very professional and explained to me everything he was doing. I will definately use him again in the future and recommend him to friends.

DO NOT HIRE JIM CZERNEK! Many things went wrong! It first started with hiring him for an AC job in the summer. Every visit to the house, he has ALWAYS been late...not 5 or 15 minutes late but hours and hours and sometimes not even show up on the days that he was supposed to arrive. Then he convinced us to replace a water tank heater to a tankless, spending several thousands of $$$. Again, with those appointments he was ALWAYS late or never showed up. The tankless was never installed properly and to this day still has problems! We have had to get it repaired by a REAL PROFESSIONAL and spent additl $ b/c Jim does not answer his phone ever

Upon submitting my request, I scheduled with Extreme Comfort within 24 hours. Jim arrived on-time (first good sign). He was courteous, professional, and expedient - even leaving to purchase a part that he didn't have in his truck. Despite the final price tag (not the fault of EC), I would recommend this contractor to friends and neighbors.

although jim was over an hour late, he was friendly and quick in completing the repair.

Mr. Czernek came to my home recently for an inspection of my furnace and water heater and found a number of issues wrong with my units. He explained throughly the difficulties I would be facing during the upcoming winter months and provided me with options in order to resolve these problems. I found him to be knowledgeable of his craft, very thorough in his work, and helpful and courteous with his explanations. I would not hesitate to recommend Extreme Comfort to anyone.

Contract consisted of installing a furnace, water heater & plumbing to a bar sink. The specified water heater was not available so high end unit was provided at no additional cost. Multiple construction problems occurred and extending the completion date. A high percentage of projects have problems that may cause dissatisfaction due to expectations, not meeting schedule dates or honoring a contract. Extreme worked during off hours without additional charges to complete the contract. Additional services were provided at no charge to earn an approval rating.

Jim did a good job on my furnace.

I made an appointment for my furnace to get a simple annual service. An appointment I made for a 9:00 AM, 2 weeks in advance. At about 9 I get a call on my office line, despite the fact that when I made the appointment I gave them my fiancee's number to call because she'd be the one home. They're going to be late. A couple hours late. Whatever, my fiancee has to be home for another appointment that's coming between 11 and 1, so as long as they are there by 1, everything will be fine. They say they'll be there by then. But they aren't. I spent a half hour trying to call them, they won't pick up their phones and won't return messages.
