I looked over many quotes for this project until I cam across Kyle with Extreme Contractors. Right away, you get a sense that he is a step above most other companies with regard to this type of work. He is extremely knowledgeable in excavation and transforming land into what you want and need. He is quick, but does the work with tremendous attention to detail. My project was complex, had many moving pieces and was time constrained due to other forces at work. Kyle was able to visualize everything from the get-go, get it done within budget and in time. I was very impressed with his ability to visualize and explain his vision from the start and then conclude so close to what that original vision was. I am really satisfied with the end result! Initially we were impressed, he answered right away came out and gave detailed description of how the project of how the project would be done. In October we signed a soft contract and gave him a check for 12,500.00 to order the pipes necessarily. Following that we needed to wait for approve from the EPA and the county so there was delays on our end. And then we reached a point where he had to submit plans to Portoge County. The one time I said to please get this by Friday. He said OH yes I am working on it and I will submit it today. This was on a Tuesday and the following Monday I found out he never submitted paper. Nothing, no communication with the county at all. I texted him what the H*** is going on? His reply was very long and I will not be spoken to that way. I will terminate the contract and refund your money. Later attempts to contact him about returning the money were initially unanswered and then we received a very long email from us would be considered harassment and we should contact his attorney. He did not provide contact information for his attorney. He said he had 30 days to do the refund. Anyway we have not heard from since. With Covid-19 I have been patient, but no communication about payment not even to setup a payment plan.

Our property was wet and soggy every spring due to inadequate drainage. Kyle assessed the situation and came up with a solution that did not require damaging our existing driveway as had been recommended by other contractors. He installed footer drains in an outbuilding and tied them plus two house downspouts into an existing drain line. He also installed a new drain line that hugs the driveway and empties into the ditch at the front of the property. Over 450 feet of new french drains installed in two days. And it works! No more rivers coursing thru our yard when the heavens open. Kyle was very conscientious keeping us apprised of his schedule as the rainy spring delayed projects of this nature and taking care to repair and reseed all excavated areas. We were extremely impressed with his work ethic (sun up til sun down) and his obvious expertise with heavy equipment (our property is dotted with mature trees making an obstacle course for equipment operators). We could not be more pleased with our decision to hire Kyle and would not hesitate to do so again. Look no further.

Kyle and his crew did an absolutely amazing job to remedy a previous contractors mistakes. Kyle and his crew ripped out an existing concrete patio and put in a 50' french drain while grading and seeding the yard where the patio was removed. I was in a terrible position due to a previous contractors mistakes and lack of knowledge. Kyle was very responsive and completed the job in 3 days when other contractors wouldn't even come near it. Kyle and his crew were very efficient and hard working. After being burned by one contractor, Kyle restored my faith that there are still honest people out there. He arrived on-time did an outstanding job and completed the project in a timely manner with no problems or issues. Kyle and his team did an amazing job on a very complicated drainage issue and eye-sore we had in our front yard. I couldn't even envision the end result and it exceeded all of our expectations. Kyle was honest, professional and completed the project on time and right on budget. Kyle and his crew did an amazing job of installing yard drains and tying our existing gutters into yard drains.They leveled our back,front and side yards .They also poured sidewalks in the front of the house and the back leading to the patio.I will be calling them in the Spring for my next major landscaping project.It is rare to find people that you instantly feel a deep sense of confidence and knowledge in what they are proposing.

I solicited 3 bids in an effort to replace my tired, worn out, asphalt driveway with a cement one. I also wanted to add a large patio and replace a concrete pad that served as the entryway to the back door. Although the pad was relatively small , it did have a pillar that held up a corner of the house on it. One contractor balked at replacing it, but Kyle said it was doable. I went with him and am very grateful I did. He and his superior crew at Extreme Excavating worked smoothly and efficiently, completing all the projects to my" extreme "satisfaction. Kyle made sure he and I were on the same page at all times. The communication between us was outstanding. Before I close I must relate this incident. Although we had agreed on a final price for the project ( I had signed the contract reflecting that), Kyle approached me a few days later and said the project had come in under budget and he was refunding me some of my money back! Now THAT was a first for me, and I have had a LOT of contractors at my home in the last year as I get this former fore-closed home up to speed. It was a real pleasure meeting Kyle and his team and I know you won't regret hiring him for your next project.

These guys are good workers. They very good in their trade. They dug out a stump and roots that nobody wanted to touch. You are crazy if you don't hire this company.

I hired Extreme Excavating after getting some estimates and chasing a few other contractors to install a parking pad off my driveway and a ramp to my storage shed. The price was very competitive and the work was done timely and professionally from prepping and forming through clean-up. Very customer conscious. I would hire them again.
