Craftsman Mill

Tim was very nice and consideret. When he got there I was walking my dog and the ran the drop cord under the welcome mat. He was unable to repair the floor joist the way the home inspector recommend due to other pipes and wiring in the way. He put supports in, even took a picture to show me so I wouldn't have to go under the house my self. The floor looks very supported and since he left it can walk in to the bathroom without the shower curtain falling.

I hired Tim to to install a new front door and all the trim, paint, and install a deadbolt. Tim was super nice and a pleasure to work with. He was very polite and would call if there was any change in the schedule. He seemed to really care about working things slowly and carefully trying to get them just right. The job took a very long time for the task ( 5 days), but I was in no hurry, so that was fine. However the quality was quite poor. The door was installed well, perfect fit. The trim was okay. But the painting was terrible, both on the door and trim. I'll need to sand it all down and start over. The lock installation was also poor. It was crooked, which I later found was because the hole drilled where the deadbolt comes out was drilled at an angle. As much of a pleasure as it was to have Tim working at my place, I'm afraid I would not be able to give a strong recommendation.

Mr. Tim is a very hard worker. Soft spoken but unbelievably polite. He would come and go getting the job done so quietly I didn't even know he was here half the time. He also had no problem with my dogs even when they went to greet him & his nephew, sometimes getting in the way. The quality of his work is so good that my neighbors are now looking into hiring him for repair work on their fence. We will not hesitate to hire him again for any maintenance we need done around our home.

I would have liked him to come to work about the same time every day! Replace furniture before leaving. He was a hard worker and for the most part did a good job. Cleaned up well!!
