The workers were always punctual, consciencious, nd caring about their work. It was a pleasure to work with them and would do it again without hesitation.

Carlos and Gregorio Arangoa are among the most professional contractors I have hired in the last decade. Not only did they respond immediately to submitting my inquiry to ServiceMagic, they arranged to come by for the estimate on my next day off. The estimate for insulation was close to what it would have cost, had I done the job myself, sans the necessity of purchasing the insulation, having it delivered, and renting the equipment to blow it into my attic. Of course, I accepted their bid. They returned to complete the job the following Saturday afternoon, providing two inches more insulation without extra charge, in under 3 hours work.

He was a bit unresponsive up front, but still did a good job in addressing the issues.

Arangoa Clean is a Father & Son team. They performed the attic blown in insulation in my attic and did a proffesional job. They cleaned up what very little mess they created. They had me view the work they compleated in the attic, which was very satisfactory. I am a retired construction worker so I know a good construction job when I see one. I was so satisfied with thier work and thier price that I had them install insulation in my garage. I would recomend them to my family and friends as a reputable contractor!

The guys from Arangoa were polite, explained everything they were going to do, showed me before and after photos of other jobs, and did their work in a professional manner. My only complaint was that they didn't always arrive at the time they specified.

Expedient, Friendly and Fair. Project started and completed immediately & Mr. Arangoa drove into Chicago from Elgin at 5:30 in the evening to review the work requirement (I wouldn't have wanted to make that commute over a small project like ours).

They were competitively priced and very prompt on performing the work. They did have a mishap and stepped through the ceiling from the attic but repaired it right away and you could not tell there was ever a problem.

I haven't used them yet, but when I'm ready to do the project, I will be hiring them.

These folks did an excellent job. I had to ask them back to correct a small detail and they were very patient about it and attended immediately to my concern.

On the first day, he tried to use a blower which would not work and he stopped the work after 3 hours saying the machine broke down. He said he must get a bigger machine to do the job. He got his bigger machine and he stopped work after 4 hours saying that the bigger machine is broken. After working all day, he had done only 20 percent of the area to be covered with insulation. A big disaster occurred while he was using the bigger machine. He was using patched up broken hoses to blow the insulation from my lawn to the attic through my master bedroom. The hose snapped in my bedroom and the insulation was blowing all over my bedroom and the entire bedroom was covered with dust from insulation. This was on Friday, 7/31/2009. Being a Friday, he went home with my bedroom full of dust and said he would return on Monday, 8/3/2009 to complete the job. The job of cleaning my bedroom was left to me and my wife and it took half a day for us to vacuum all the dust and debris from our bed and furniture. This man came on 8/3 again with the same machine and I told him he was not using the right blower. But, he ignored me and continued to use his old blower. Finally, he completed the job around 5Pm on the second day. Because I signed the contract, I had to pay him whatever I had agreed to pay. I would give this contractor a zero rating for doing an attic insulation job with cellulose insulation. He may be good at doing batt insulation, but not cellulose insulation, which perhaps he was doing for the first time, a fact he did not want to reveal. I suggest that you remove this contractor from your approved list.

The appointment for the installation was quick and efficient. Price quote was mailed within a few hours and an appointment was made to install the insulation. On the day of the service I was called by the owner to say he was having trouble with his truck and would be a little late (he asked if I wanted to reschedule but I did not). After they got here the work was done quickly and I am pleased with the result.

Greg was very prompt in setting up an appointment and submitting a proposal. We scheduled the work very quickly and he did a great job. He was very thorough and paid attention to the details. I would highly recommend his work.
