FBP Mechanical

We originally contacted this business in June 2019 through Angi's for an estimate on moving our water heater out of the laundry room and into the garage. We discovered, however, a water leak, and hired FBP to fix it. I found the workmen, Jeff and Keith, very knowledgeable. The owner, Stacy, is dishonest: Four or five times she rescheduled my estimate/job, offering a 10% discount more than once because she had to reschedule. When the work was finally completed (well) by Jeff, she denied the discount in an offensive way. There also appeared to be some communication issues between Stacy and her plumbers as I was not informed there was a charge for a report Jeff told me Stacy would complete. The bill for repairing the water leak was approx $250 and took less than 30 minutes. We hired a different plumber in 2020 to (1) remodel our master bath, (2) move our water heater, and (3) remodel our laundry room. Our total plumbing bill was approx $7K. That work could have gone to FBP because Jeff and Keith were MORE than capable of doing the work, but I didn't deserve to be treated badly; and Stacy's actions did nothing to build trust and a working relationship. Based on my experience with Stacy, I would not ... ever .... recommend this business to anyone.

He was late both time he said he was going to be here. Then he had to leave for a part. Didnt come back until about 3 hours later. After it was installed, there was so much water leaking out of the faucet when the shower stem was pulled that the water went down through the wall and soaked the ceiling tiles in the daylight basement below. He traded out the faucet and resolved that problem, but broke a part and still had to come back. After about a month I contacted them because I had not heard anything, he said he was embarrassed that he forgot. Finally came back and while trying to adjust the water pressure, he broke another part and put a temporary fix. He blamed everything on the faucet set and told me that if I exchanged it, he would come back In the morning and change it out for free. I told him I would have it exchanged that evening, so I did. I tried contacting him and his scheduler. Nobody responded. I waited at home all day expecting him to return. Never showed up. So now I am back to square 1...needing everything switched out again. He even shredded the spout of the brand new steel faucet he replaced and charged me for!

Jeff and Keith were very professional and had knowledge of our community water meter install issues. I would highly recommend them to any member of our community.

There was a problem with manufacturer sending FBP refurbished tanks. Stacy (the owner) came out personally to assure the new replacement tank was installed and that I was satisfied with the job.
