Overall lowest cost for HVAC equipment (drop-in install) but after 4 or 5 service calls related to issues related to ductwork and heating I ended up having to hire my own ducting contractor and electrician to get my HVAC performing the way it should. This included straightforward things such as intake vent size being way too small, and improper wiring of thermostat for 2nd stage heat. Most of their techs were not trained to understand the HVAC system as a whole. I still probably ended up saving a little money going with FIXD, but also wasted a lot of time. If I had to do it all over again I would probably pay a few hundred more for full service, headache-free. I learned a lot of stuff about HVAC systems in the process, but I have better things to do.

This is a great service company that provided excellent communication, a great price and provided excellent service. They removed my old hot water heater and replaced with a new model. Area was kept clean and when they left everything was in working order.

they gave me a good price, but I found out why a year+ later. The system did not cool sufficiently at high outdoor temperature. After spending more than $2000 trying to correct this problem, another Trane vendor found that the system they installed was not the 5 ton unit I paid for but a 4 ton unit. During this process, Fixd was unresponsive.

I had a 3 ton and 4 ton Trane 18, seer HVAC system installed in July of 2019. The units failed inspection after the initial install, and we had to have the systems re-installed. There were multiple issues as not wired properly to no mastic used. Yesterday the line became plugged with paper left in the line causing overflow into the pan. The pan and drain leaked into the attic and the sensors installed in the pan and the unit did not work allowing the system to continue to run and leak into the attic causing damage to insulation and drywall. This damage to the home is not covered by them because of the bad installation, It may be a good price, but they tried and cut corners when installing and they do not stand by their work.

Fixd has a business model that involves subcontracting out installations, and they hired a sub that had different appointment times and no experience with the A/C controller required to run the 5 ton Trane system that they installed, so they shorted out the controller, making all the shiny new equipment inoperable. Rather than Fixd following up to see if the system worked (they did not), they sent an electronic invoice for the system as if it was really operational. Multiple calls by me to various folks at Fixd got me to the service manager who is a star surrounded by an organization of incompetents who would not allow him to fix the issue until three---THREE--other visits resulted in a non-operational unit. Weeks past before, eventually after 6 total visits, the system appears to be working. If it were not for the service manager personally delivering a portable A/C unit, the 3 week old infant and our two other children would have been at serious health risk. To give you a flavor of the level of incompetence: their **best** technician, who ultimately got the system to work, spent over 30 min in my living room reading the manual for the controller and over an hour with technical support--twice. They are nice folks, they just literally do not know what they are doing and are trying to figure it out on the fly, while headquarters sends out invoices for **repairs** that are really continued weeks long troubleshooting of a botched installation. Maybe they need to go into a different industry? They are price competitive, and that is really their only selling point.

Came day before scheduled, did not know he was coming early. Scheduling software sent double notices and follow-ups. Was not familiar with re fridge model. He did thaw the frozen drain, I had to complete the re-assembly due to a piece not seated. But hey, problem solved for $175.

Price stated online was the actual price of job. Couldn t believe it!! Only feedback is that the plumber didn t know that the offer was already made and work was scheduled to happen. Work was scheduled to happen at 9am and didn t start till 1pm. Not a major deal. Install was good and quick.

Agree with the other reviews on Michael Arriaga installing my ceiling fan- he did an outstanding job! On time, professional, and knows his stuff when it comes to installing fans. He even fixed a wiring issue on another fan that a previous installer did wrong. Reasonable price that was 1/5 that of another bid from a "recommended company". Well done- I will use their company again!
