Flagship Landscapes

Flagship Landscapes handles the mowing at our Golden Valley property, and that part is fine, they can cut grass. But their handling of anything beyond turf has been a repeated problem for years. We have several shrubs on the property that are meant to keep their natural mounded, arching form. Year after year, their crew shears them into tight round balls instead, which isn't how these varieties are meant to be pruned and works against their natural growth habit. They shear shrubs while they were in full bloom, stripping off flowers and this years new growth. Any shrub still in bloom shouldn't be getting hard-pruned in the middle of its flowering. What makes it worse is the timing: They do this every July when the heat index near 100 degrees. Heavy shearing is already stressful for a plant: doing it during extreme heat compounds that stress significantly. It's basic horticultural sense to avoid hard pruning during a heat event, and it's the kind of thing you'd expect a landscaping comp

Flagship completed our work in a very timely manner, was very flexible and willing to meet our needs, and they created a gorgeous patio for a very reasonable cost. I would highly recommend this company.
