Greg called me immediately and gave a quote. He came out on the agreed day but could not get it started ay my location and took it back to his shop. Promised to return it in 2 days on Saturday, July 3rd. Saturday he did not show or call. He called Monday, July 5, stating that he would deliver on Tuesday, July 6. He arrived on Tuesday and got the generator to start & run in my garage. His originally quoted price increased by 25% and he required my check be made out to him personally. I asked for an invoice and he said he would e-mail it to me. Never received it. I have called at least 6 times & left voice mails which he totally ignore

"sorrey sir my schedule got completely away from me being the fourth of july weekend and having a five day old son at the same time i will drop an invoice as soon as i get a moment and as far as the increase it is a 100 doller service call the additional 25 dollers was to cover the cost of the carb rebuild kit"

The most unprofessional individual that I've ever dealt with under any circumstance. How Servicemagic could possibly recommend this individual for painting service is an absolute travesty. It will cost be over $2000 to replace carpet and have the hardwood floors and baseboards cleaned after this individual was in the house. Not to mention having to hire another contractor to finish the job correctly. This was an unbelievably BAD experience!!!

"i would like to say this isnt true but to be to the point the contract was 1400 dollers to repaint a 3500 square foot house in two days but the promblem and why we did not complete the job at all let along do clean up was due to the fact that trace upchurch bounced the dep[osit check an wanted the job completed any way my advice is not an i repeat not try to due home improvement projects that one cannot afford"

The Tech was very knowledgeble of how the generator worked and got me up and running within an hour. I would liked to have seen him with more dianostic tools, ie to check the voltage that the gen was producing, hz, run a load test, check the RPM to make sure that the generator was operating at the levels it was manufactured to do.

Not the smoothest or most professional seeming, but he came through when the original person I choose did not show up. He was fast, picked up a better deal for me that the fixture we had originally selected, and was reasonably priced.

He called within 15 minutes of submitting to service magic. He stated what he thought the problem might be based on the details I told him. He spelled out up front the costs. He came in 2 days later, found my electrical snafu within an hour, and that was it. Problem solved.

"this was a tough job to start with and in the coarse of the install a very old grid ceiling did suffer some damage when i went back to repair it there was no one home and the homeowner told me to go ahead and go in the house is not locked and it is not in my s.o.p to be in someones home when they are not there so the cleanup an fix did take longer than i would have liked my apoligies to the homeowner and once again thank you for the review"

Greg called promptly after my inquiry was entered. He was professional in handling the job and up front on the cost of the project. I really am not qualified to rate the depth of his knowledge, except to say he knew more than me. He quickly diagnosed the problems and completed the task of getting my home generator up and running. I also liked that he didn't have a problem sharing his knowledge with me on both keeping the generator working and some quick troubleshooting tips.

Greg provided a very reasonable cost estimate and came in just under budget. Given the job was not fixed fee, this was a strong consideration and risk I took. In the end, I was satisfied with his work and would hire him again in the future.
