The end result, which is what’s most important, was satisfying. It’s unfortunate that the scheduling process and communication is what is in need of improvement. I give the Sales rep we had Renee a 5 star and was honestly what held this transaction together as the owner or general contractor was not on the same page. His workers though were great and very accommodating helping with questions and able to resolve issues when we did end up some incorrect cabinets. The only problem was they showed up no more than twice a week due to scheduling and taking about 7 weeks to complete leaving about 4 almost 5 weeks with the kitchen stalled in the teardown phase. I hope they’ve been able to make improvements as again their workers are very good and did a great job.

I would NEVER recommend this company. Nothing but problems with the sub-contractor, project manager, and now owner Tom over workmanship issues that have occurred and their so called 5 year warranty. A BBB complaint has been filed against them due to Tom's lack or responsibility and accountability. Their sub-contractor pieced together the plywood underlayment on the floor as well as used different thicknesses of plywood which has now caused the floor to crack. Tom has said he would come out, date set and he was a no call, no show. 5 days later he claimed to be meeting with a flooring expert and would lock down a date to inspect. 3 weeks with no communication. Then of a Monday morning he asked which days that week someone could come out. Gave him 3 options. We are not on the 3rd optional day and as expected, have not heard a word from Tom. His response is to blow us off. Their sub-contractor left a roof vent wrapped in a plastic bag and duct tape, we have 2 non working light switches, they constantly brought what appeared to be leftovers from other jobs to use at our home in 1 case a cracked heat vent cover which I replaced. Very cheap! Their laborers (nobody is a licensed professional) grouted our backsplash 45 minutes after they installed it. Horrible! It all had to be redone. We paid for 4 designated circuits to the kitchen. Instead the sub-contractor shoved wires thru and connected to existing lines only to knock out power to our family room and garage. To this day I cannot operate multiple appliances due to circuits popping. A true professional would stand by his company and work. Instead the owner continues to play games and not take accountability. Do not use this company!!!!

Renee was extremely helpful in walking me through my tile, flooring, and cabinetry options for my bathroom remodel. The quote she provided was very detailed, so there were no surprises as we went through the project. A big selling point of Fab Five is that a single team performs most of the work. This was very helpful that there were no delays waiting on another team to tackle the next task of the project. Hector has fantastic craftsmanship and took great care in getting the job done right. I'm very impressed by Fab Five's operation!

Easy to work with and did good work.

Tom is great! Always very responsive & wants to do a good job. This was our first remodel so I was looking for someone to help walk us through the process. The planning went well but I asked for renderings & wasn’t 100% satisfied with those. It wasn’t specific to the colors I picked but the layout was correct. We decided to change the layout once the bathroom was gutted & Tom came out again to make sure what we wanted. He sent me to a showroom to pick out fixtures which was great. The only issue I had was communication on when the cabinet, fixtures, countertop etc needed to be selected. I could’ve used more time to pick those things out. The demo crew & the crew who built our bathroom were great! Very professional, courteous & kind. We are looking at redoing another bathroom soon & will be calling Tom for that project too!

Good workmanship. Communication could be a little better

There was no communication between the workers. One was waiting for someone else to come and do their part.

What a great experience. All too often something sounds great or starts strong and the finished product doesn't match. Wow, what a difference with this company. Fair price, accurate description of work/timeline, beautiful finished product. We literally couldn't be happier and cannot wait to start our next product with this company.

Quality work! Like all other businesses they have been effected by COVID-19. You will wait to get your job started and complete but it worth the wait. I have over 30 years of law enforcement experience and have dealt with remodeling fraud . Donâ t give this a second thought with Fab Five ! You will get exactly what s included in the bid. And more! Thank you Fab Five for our awesome new kitchen!

Fair price, good work, nice end product.

Nice team

I consulted with and hired Fab Five back in Feb 2020 Signed a contract and gave a deposit. then the pandemic hit, I was exposed, and we postponed the job. In Sept I contacted Fab Five to hopefully schedule a time to begin the project. I was flexible but the communication has been terrible. Then I heard back from their PM on Oct 16th that they were tentatively planning to start the job on the following Wed and he would be in touch with me the following Monday. Nothing. Knowing the challenges they were likely facing I gave them time and still have heard nothing. Now I cannot get a call back and I am out $4000 dollars. I understand the pandemic impacting everyone but communication is key. If I cant get a response and they have a healthy amount of money what am I to think. At this point I cannot recommend them and want to have some recourse from Home Advisor on this.

It took 4 months to get 2 bathrooms remodeled. Communication issues right from the start. Several re-dos including shower tile, shelf and countertop. Just an overall bad experience.

Fab Five did a great job on our bathroom. The staff were friendly and competent. The job was completed on time. We would totally recommend them.

I decided to hire Fab Five after reading all the nice reviews. This weighed heavily on my decision to hire them. I wish I had the same experiences as most of the reviewers, but I did not. I thought it was important to submit my review because all experiences should be represented. My project was estimated to take a week and a half. It actually took three weeks and I was displaced from my home the entire time. Now I understand that project timetables cannot be exact, but no one expects it to be doubled. It was my understanding that roughly the first two days would be demolition and the debris would be removed from my home. Two weeks into my project most of the debris was still sitting in my home. I am pretty sure my project was subbed out to a contractor and the communication between the contractor and project manager appeared to have its challenges. I visited my home every few days to chart the progress. My contract deal with Fab Five was to supply my own materials. The project manager called me several times for materials needed when the installer was nowhere at the stage of installing them (if the communication between the project manager and contractor was good, I am pretty sure it would have been good to me and my perception and rating would have been higher than a three). The biggest part of giving a three stars rating is because of the communication and service to me as a customer. While I think the work performed was done well overall, the customer service experience was well below my expectation based on reviews. Lastly, after my job was completed I had a slow drain in my new tub and sink. I called out a plumber who identified two issues with Fab Fives plumbing installation. I reached out to Fab Five and Phil French. I have reached out several times to find out when my issues will be addressed. Phil has promised to get back to me and never does. We are now approaching three weeks and I have not heard back from him. This is not a way to treat a customer.

Great communication and workers!

Fab Five did a remarkable job. They remodeled a kitchen that was 65 years old. Project manager was there to keep us informed of any problems they may have. The crew that did the work were very professional. Anyone in the market for remodeling need not look any further.

Overall, I can not complain, the Job was not completed on time because of a misunderstanding of the SOW ( Statement of Work). But all items were completed and the only additional job specs were the installation of the overhead ceiling. The employees were always on-time and the last few days they put in extra time. Overall rating is very high and would high them again.

I really appreciated Jessica s design recommendations! The crew was very respectful of our home and careful to be neat. Also the crew was friendly and kept us posted as to their status!

Fab Five, Inc. was excellent to work with during our guest bathroom remodel. They are very professional, answered every question within reasonable time, rehab time they were in and out fast, but with superior work and knew about every material/equipment I want to review. I highly recommend Fab Five, Inc. We will be utilizing Fab Five, Inc. in near future for our master bathroom and kitchen.

Very helpful, not pushy at all .

Everyone was so great to work with, even when the plan didn t go as smoothly as expected. Fab Five completed our complete kitchen renovation and new flooring in a timely and professional manner! Loved working with these guys!!
