I would recommend Jack to anyone. He was honest, had fair prices, and my floors look beautiful! I had a section that was warped and he spent several hours ensuring that there wasn't a leak and drying the wood so that the end result would be perfect instead of rushing through. He explained everything they were doing and the products he uses are low odor and dry extremely fast so there is no need to go to a hotel. I couldn't be happier with our experience.

Job well done! Jack divan excellent job, and was very accommodating. We were able to stay at home through out the entire process. Jack and his team always kept us up to speed and answered all our questions and concerns. The workmanship was 1st rate.

Jack and Robert were amazing to work with! They were professional, friendly and extremely trustworthy! Not only did they do an amazing job on our floor, but Jack went above and beyond including shoveling snow, sweeping out our garage (which was a mess BEFORE they ever got there) and taking out all trash so there was not a trace of the work after they finished each day. He did a great job of communicating with us on the details of the job and our floors are beautiful! THANK YOU~

I found that the quality of work was excellent. He did a very good job, everything was done well, the timeliness, everything was good. The only problem that I had, and I refer to that in my cleanliness remark, is in the cleanup process there was left a lot of the substance that's put on it at the end of the flooring. It was left in my sink, and unfortunately, they did not take it out for me. They told me to get Goof-Off and take it out, and it took me quite a long time to do that and I had to scrub and get steel wool, etc., and bleach and everything else, and still I have fumes coming back from that. So that was my unfortunate part of the experience, but everything else was good.

Estimate was very prompt. The work was great. Service was very personable. Friends and family are all impressed with the results.

They did a great job. They were awesome. I am going to hire them for a second job. They were very professional, and great with my kids hanging around watching them do their job. Jack and Robert were really wonderful to work with. They showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves at the end of each work day. Jack and Robert both explained what the next step of the process was each day, as well as completed the project on time. Jack was patient with me during the contracting process and making sure that we rec'd quality flooring at very affordable rates. I would HIGHLY recommend them.

Jack and Robert are craftsman! They wove new hardwood into exsisting hardwood flooring, the floors are finished like furniture, they are gorgeous. Both men are meticulous, they work hard, arrive on time and best of all they do what they say they are going to do. What a pleasure to work with them. We now have 1100 sq ft of hardwood flooring on our first floor and they are back this week to install hardwood on our curved staircase and upstairs foyer. I recommend them to any one that needs hardwood flooring work.

When we received the estimate, we were told that our house would be treated with the utmost care. Unfortunately, that was not the case. There was a lot of damage to our trim and door frames. We told them we were having our carpet replaced so they took that as free reign to no longer take care with the carpet. They put some of their tools on our back deck and left grease stains. After we told them the damage to the door frames and trim was unacceptable, they tried to patch it up as best they could. There is still stains on our deck even though we were assured that it would be repaired/ replaced. It's been a month and we have not heard a word

I would be highly cautious on terms and conditions with Jack Milligan, co-owner of Fado. He has a way of over promising and under delivering. He gave me a 10% discount for starting the project the week of Dec. 20th, 2010 or 7% for the week of Dec. 27th, 2010 and stated there would be 2 men on the job/day and it would get done in 5 working days. He was a no show for 2 days the 1st week and the days he did work, he was there half of the day. His worker also bailed early most days of the week and caused the project to rollover the next week. What originally was to take 5 working days ended up to be 8.5 working days. Final bill was higher.

What a pleasure to have a project done right, on time, and with no worries! We had a combination of very old and somewhat new wood floors in our newly purchased home, none of which matched. Jack was able to sand (pretty much dust free) and refinish them to look wonderful. He also had to replace some of the old boards from water damage and you can't even tell where they are now. What a difference. Jack and Robert are honest, trustworthy, and passionate about their profession. We were not disappointed and will definitely use them again if the need arises.

Absolutely superb. Arrived on time everyday, and at the end of the day tools and unused materials were carefully stored, not just left where they were lying. Extreme care was taken in moving all the furniture (including the grand piano, which required additional help) from the floor prior to starting the job, and replacing it once the new floor was completed. The presentation, when estimating the job, was a winning point also. It was quite obvious Jack knew what he was doing and what he was going to need to complete the job as we discussed it. And the finished product-- beyond all our expectations. Thanks for a great job.
