Fairfax Contractor is class A contractor with an RBC, CBC endorsement. We are a general contractor providing residual and commercial services in Northern Virginia. Fairfax Contractor has workmen?s compensation insurance and general liability insurance. Our license classification allows us to do all types of basement foundation repair work. We are able to provide epoxy injection systems for cracked concrete foundation walls, and epoxy fiber carbon strips installation for block wall constructed basements. Fairfax Contractor can repair your wet basement or crawl space. We also install custom flagstone and brick patios and walkways. Both a residential and commercial concrete contractor, our services include driveway replacement and all types of concrete installations. Decks, portico, screen rooms, painting, door and window replacement We can also build code-compliant retaining wall projects. We provide both wrought iron fabrication and repair from our Northern Virginia shop.

I hired them in Feb 2018 to install a back patio which included demolition of my concrete patio, laying a new base, and installing flagstone. I paid them $11K. The job was performed on time and initially looked great. After two years, the patio has settled and will not drain, so I have standing water every time it rains. Now, I have mold build-up and it continues to get worse. I contacted them by email several times with no response at all. After numerous tries to call as they do not typically answer the phone, I spoke with someone. Can not recall the name but he stated I was on the list for them to come out and fix the problem. It has been a month and after repeated emails and voicemails, I have yet to be contacted. To me, this means that they either do not back their work or do not care about their customers. So beware! I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone.

Glen did two expensive jobs for me. He did not finish either one. Both included it on railings around two decks. One was supposed to be powder coated, and his own technician told me it was done wrong, so rusted in less than a year. The other was never completed leaving a dangerous and unsightly railing that is not even attached, and as a result, is unsafe. I have called Glen about 20 times over the last year to come and remedy. He sent a technician out last fall who acknowledged the problems and afterward would not return my calls. I am sorely disappointed and would rate this a zero if it would let me. Beware! in response to a negative review, Glen said he would make it right; however, he does not respond to my calls and has not reached out to me that is bad.

I was pleased to find Fairfax Contractor would take on a modest-sized job at my home. In this case it was replacement and re-seating of a number of flagstones and pavers. Some of the pavers were loose and formed steps, so getting these secures was very important. The work was done on time and for a very fair price. Thank you to Elvis.

5 Star Experience - when getting estimates for fixing my 30_year old flagstone patio, we were initially hesitant because Glen's estimate was a bit higher than what we had planned for the job, but he made some pretty lofty claims about how he could restore the patio to like new. It turned out that his estimate was quite reasonable when compared to other estimates and when I saw the actual work that his team performed I knew it was a very reasonable price. The night and day difference is astounding. It's a pleasure to use the patio every day now. He and his team were great to work with. They were hard working, courteous, and very skilled. They finished all the work on-time and with no deviation from our estimate. I will definitely use again.

Fairfax Contractor went way above the contract and did a superior job. They even did things not covered by the contract. As I m a senior citizen and female, they could have taken advantage of the situation, but instead they put up a handicap bar to make it easier for me to get into and out of my garage safely. The contractor saw a need and filled it. What a wonderful surprise. They came when they said, did all that needed to be done and left my garage cleaner that when they came. Very polite and respectful. Price was excellent for what they did.

Highly recommend this contractor. I normally hate hiring contractors, but Ram was very knowledgeable, super courteous, and he gave me a fair price for my concrete job—and importantly, he didn’t oversell it. He was prompt and remained in contact from beginning to end of the job and his crew was professional and thorough. I would definitely call on Ram again should I need more such work done in the future.

The managers were friendly and knowledgeable and, while there was a little confusion early on (the source of my leak ended up being more complicated than expected), they did excellent work and got it all done much more quickly than expected. My house is waterproofed and everything is clean, dry, and back to the way it should be.

They did an excellent job repairing stone veneer on a retaining wall that had been damaged. They did a good job matching the repair work to the undamaged stone and it looks great and you can't tell it was damaged. After the job was complete they cleaned up the job area. They weren't the lowest price quote I received for this small job but they showed up and got the job done.

Fairfax Contractors did an AMAZING job on my patio!!! My neighbors are now wanting them to build their patios. Ram was such a gentleman and so awesome to work with. He made so many accommodations for me, from timing, design change, and exchanging my stone to get the job done. His manager Glen was also wonderful and helped me personally pick out my pavers, which the choice resulted in a much better paver selection. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Their pricing was the best out of all the contractors that I looked at. You can't go wrong. Also, the patio came out much better than I would have ever imagined. Thorough inspection of the job before estimate. Estimate done in front of me. Work schedule discussed and agreed to. Workers arrived, worked hard and diligently. Always courteous and neat in stowing tools and arriving for work. They did a high quality repair of my chimney and showed me the work during and after completing.
