Great work and communication

I hired them in Feb 2018 to install a back patio which included demolition of my concrete patio, laying a new base, and installing flagstone. I paid them $11K. The job was performed on time and initially looked great. After two years, the patio has settled and will not drain, so I have standing water every time it rains. Now, I have mold build-up and it continues to get worse. I contacted them by email several times with no response at all. After numerous tries to call as they do not typically answer the phone, I spoke with someone. Can not recall the name but he stated I was on the list for them to come out and fix the problem. It has been a month and after repeated emails and voicemails, I have yet to be contacted. To me, this means that they either do not back their work or do not care about their customers. So beware! I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone.

Glen did two expensive jobs for me. He did not finish either one. Both included it on railings around two decks. One was supposed to be powder coated, and his own technician told me it was done wrong, so rusted in less than a year. The other was never completed leaving a dangerous and unsightly railing that is not even attached, and as a result, is unsafe. I have called Glen about 20 times over the last year to come and remedy. He sent a technician out last fall who acknowledged the problems and afterward would not return my calls. I am sorely disappointed and would rate this a zero if it would let me. Beware! in response to a negative review, Glen said he would make it right; however, he does not respond to my calls and has not reached out to me that is bad.

I was pleased to find Fairfax Contractor would take on a modest-sized job at my home. In this case it was replacement and re-seating of a number of flagstones and pavers. Some of the pavers were loose and formed steps, so getting these secures was very important. The work was done on time and for a very fair price. Thank you to Elvis.

5 Star Experience - when getting estimates for fixing my 30_year old flagstone patio, we were initially hesitant because Glen's estimate was a bit higher than what we had planned for the job, but he made some pretty lofty claims about how he could restore the patio to like new. It turned out that his estimate was quite reasonable when compared to other estimates and when I saw the actual work that his team performed I knew it was a very reasonable price. The night and day difference is astounding. It's a pleasure to use the patio every day now. He and his team were great to work with. They were hard working, courteous, and very skilled. They finished all the work on-time and with no deviation from our estimate. I will definitely use again.
