Job was done well. Excellent service. No hassles. A bit more expensive than I thought but equipment rental was just as bad.

I Just use Fairway for the 4 pre emergent services and so far no winter or spring weeds in my zoysia. Much better that my previous DIY attempts. Anderson has been a great help and professional!

We just had our first service with Fairway Green, our technician was named CP, and she was absolutely wonderful. Approached us with a smile, gave us an overview of what she was going to do, introduced her partner, and then gave us a timeframe of how long she would be. It was absolutely thorough, concise, and she did it all with an approachable attitude. Could not have asked for better customer service!

In April, I pre-paid for a full year of service to take advantage of discount pricing. When I signed up and paid, I was told a technician would be out within a week to begin services. The plan included six lawn treatments, and according to the company’s website, these treatments are supposed to occur every 6–7 weeks. That did not happen. The first treatment did not occur until May 20, nearly a month later. After that, more than 8 weeks passed without service. I called to follow up and received a text message from technician Brandon stating that he would be out the next day. No one came. After multiple follow-ups, he finally showed up on July 17. Since then, more than 11 weeks have passed (today is October 1) with no further service. My repeated calls, voicemails, and attempts to contact the company through its customer portal have gone unanswered. Fairway Green Lawn Care has failed to provide services within the timeframes it promises both on its website and in its communications with me. Proper lawn care requires consistent and timely treatments, which I did not receive. Save yourself the headache and find a more reliable lawn care service.

They stated they fertilized the lawn, billed me and nobody showed up when I was invoiced. The company admitted there mistake but continued to have poor lawn and weed control service. I discontinued service, after I paid all prior invoices in full (in addition on being on auto-draft), they still sent more invoices but did not service my lawn. . I had them on a lawn treatment contract for three years. The first two years I was with them they managed to keep the broadleaf weeds away. Last year, they had a different person doing the treatments. Weeds started showing up along the perimeter. The weeds were very noticeable during their last 3 visits and only got worse. They must have just skipped those areas. They were probably in a hurry as they always seem to rush through it. They seem to take two passes to cover a lawn that should probably take four. I called the company and told them about weeds along the perimeter and they said they'd do a free treatment within a week. Later that day, the person who did the failed treatments called and said he would not be showing up to get rid of the weeds as that could hurt the lawn but to call if the weeds along the perimeter don't go away. All it would have taken would have been a spray along the perimeter where the weeds are. At about $57 per treatment taking a 'rushed through' 5.7 - 10 minutes, that's about $6 - $10 per minute. In terms of scheduling, they always did this on their own schedule and never called ahead to let me know they were coming. That would be okay, but due to them always rushing through and failing to keep the weeds away, I canceled the service for the 2019 season.
Response from Fairway Green
"Unfortunately, broadleaf weeds can be difficult when [Member Information Removed] scheduled application is missed on the core program. Post emergent broadleaf weed control can take up to 14 days to start showing signs of control. We asked you to be patient and we would return in 14 days (at no charge) since roughly five days had passed since the application was completed. Too much post-emergent broadleaf weed control applied in [Member Information Removed] short period of time can damage turf. You refused and cancelled service. Our equipment is calibrated to do 1000 square feet [Member Information Removed] minute. Our records indicate the technicians was at your property in within the appropriate amount of time."

Fairway Green destroyed my lawn. I hired them to make my lawn thicker with a Fall seeding. They aerated the front (good job.) But, without permission, they killed EVERY blade of grass in my backyard. Overnight, my yard went from a green oasis, which my neighbors and regular gardener can confirm, to a red clay desert. At first, Fairway Green promised to make it right. But, after a couple of seedings (the yard is on a hill and there has been lots of rain) they have determined that they can't do anything else to fix it because they don't sod. Meanwhile, my backyard has half as much grass as it did last Fall. And, I am probably going to have to sod it myself. This company is terrible and I wish I could give them a negative star count.
Response from Fairway Green
"It is interesting you mention that we destroyed your lawn when the only service we provided was seeding. Unfortunately, we probably wouldn't have been seeding the lawn if it was an oasis of green as you mention. We seeded and reseeded your lawn four times. As a good faith measure, we did not charge you anything for the original seeding or the multiple follow-up seeding. We had one of our field managers look at the lawn the week of March 11, 2019 and it appears you have grass everywhere and do not require any additional seeding or sod. Turf establishment can be challenging and frustrating when dealing with climatic conditions including two hurricanes. This is even more challenging when dealing with disease and less than perfect site locations."

It started out very well, with the field sales and application technician both being knowledgeable and professional. The plan to which we agreed included full-season lawn weed control and fertilization, treatments which indeed improved the condition of my new lawn, which had been completely renovated by a professional landscaper the previous fall at a cost of approximately eight thousand dollars. I am a retired professional biologist of an age that disallows me from performing extended physical activities, but with a speciality in plant disease control, so as the early season growth continued, the weather forecast set up to be a warm, wet spring. I notified Fairway Green that I wanted to add their season-long fungus control applications to my existing program, noting that their website described their professional staff as watching the weather conditions so that the applications could made in a timely manner, prior to the beginning of a fungus infestation. I was advised that they would take care of it. That was in early May, 2018. Several days, then weeks passed with no application, though the fungus season was clearly imminent. I called their office asking for an immediate application, and was told that I would be moved to the top of the schedule. More time passed without further contact from them, and I called again. Still no application, and the forecast weather did its work and the fungus exploded throughout my new lawn. On May 21, 2018, after another call to them, their technician did apply the fungicide, but by then the lawn was fully infected, and later died. Additional communication to them about the situation brought a visit from one of their professionals, who took numerous pictures of the damage, stating that it was clearly damage from Brown Patch fungus that could have been prevented had the application been done earlier. At that point, there was no possibility of recovery or replanting of the grass until the coming fall. I was left with dead grass for the entire summer. The representative who visited my property asked what they could do to make things better; I replied that I wanted a refund of the $112 that I paid for the application, and an agreement that later during the early fall, they would aerate and replant my entire lawn with the same quality of grass seed that the original landscaper had used. He so advised his management of my request, which was summarily refused. They did recommend a repeat of the treatment, which was applied on June 6, long after the lawn was clearly dying. They did not charge me for the repeat treatment, stating that it was for professional courtesy, and offerred the opinion that they were not surprised that I had a bad fungus infestation, since the second application came long after it should have been (applications are normally done about every three weeks to be sure that the fungus has no chance to become established). I continuously explained to the manager that the second application would make no difference, as the lawn was lost in mid-May, before the first application, and neither application could help it recover. It was like talking to a brick wall; I was left to my own resources with no further help from the company. In the fall of 2018, I did my own aeration, and planted my own lawn. I will not know how much grass I will have during the summer of 2019 until the weather warms enough to germinate the seed. I do know that the soil has copious quantities of plant fungus just waiting for enough heat and moisture to attack whatever grass does survive. I also know that I will be dragging hoses around a sizeable yard as I treat and retreat it with the fungicide of my choice at the times of my choice, all of which were what I was paying Fairway Green so that I didn't have to do it at all. Do not...I repeat, do not trust this company to perform as promised. I had a beautiful lawn, and thanks to them, now I don't. Thanks for your attention: Dr. Jon H. Arvik, Ph.D Plant Pathology, retired.
Response from Fairway Green
"We completed your fungicide application on 5-21-1. Brown Patch Fungus started around the second week in May 2018. We started our fungicide program that week. We utilize a contact and systemic fungicide which will arrest activity immediately after application. High quality fungicides like the ones we use, will last about 21 to 28 days. If conditions for disease are still favorable, it will activate on the plant as soon as the fungicide has expired. Fungicides will not turn brown lesion damaged leaf tissue green after fungicide, it will have to grow out and be cut off with mowing. You contacted us 6-5-18 stating that you felt the fungicide was not working. We reapplied the fungicide at no charge on 6-7-18. We contacted you to apply your second scheduled fungicide but you refused that application. On 7-20-18 you contacted us, 43 days after your last fungicide demanding that we aerate and seed your lawn at no charge because you lost large portions of your lawn to Brown Patch Fungus. We did decide to not aerate and seed your lawn because you declined the recommended fungicide application stating you did not need it."

We used Fairway Green for several years, and our lawn has steadily deteriorated during that time - we now have huge bare patches in several different places. I called them out for a diagnosis, but the guy seemed clueless and said there wasn't anything they could do. This raises the question of why the heck I am paying them hundreds of dollars each year for my lawn to slowly die off, so when my annual renewal notice came several weeks ago, I tossed it in the trash. FG came out anyway and serviced my lawn. I notified them to stop, and now they are dunning me for the the work! They claim I didn't cancel until after the work was done, thus I owe them the $40, even though I never renewed our contract. We're moving on to another lawn company.
Response from Fairway Green
"We are truly sorry to learn about your unpleasant experience with our service. We have used your situation as valuable training for the office. According to our records, we recommend natural areas in some spots due to shade and very rough soil. Unfortunately, lack of direct sunlight from trees and structures is not conducive for growing quality turf. We did credit your account for that last application once management was aware of your situation. Fairway Green does not operate with contracts or terms. We keep coming out from year to year unless the service is cancelled. Once again we truly apologize for your dissatisfaction and frustration."
