We had Mike and his dad complete a fireplace install and remodel last year. They did great work! So good we wanted them to come back and do some other projects for us. This time they not only framed in an interior window and installed drywall, they tiled our bathroom floor, installed baseboards, installed a range hood, and fixed up our kitchen cabinets. All of these projects were completed well and we re very happy with the results. They are expert drywallers; the finishing texture on each area they worked was flawless. It seemed like they really wanted to please us and tried hard to make sure they were doing everything to our specification. Not only all that, but they re really nice guys! We re very happy we hired them.

Mike was amazing!! He remodeled my neighbors kitchen beautifully, so I called him when my bathroom had a tile lifting and there was a smell coming from it. He came immediately. When he pulled up the flooring, we had a better idea of what was going on and it was a mess. Mold! Toilet leaking for years!! No waterproofing of my shower! Yuck! He always gave me clear concise options on how to approach the problem and avenues I could take.(ie low end fix vs complete remodel) Once I decided on my approach, he put in his bid. I took a few days and got a few other bids from other contractors. His bid was the most thorough, fairly priced and clearly stated. I m so glad I went with him. He always showed up when he said. He always cleaned up after himself everyday. He always communicated appropriately. I have an older house from the 60 s, so I knew there may be hiccups along the way and when there were(very few though) he always aired in the side of caution, safety of my family and code. He accidentally chipped my old shower glass door that we were going to try to use for the remodel and (without hesitation) offered to pay for it. He always did what was right and good. A true valued contractor! They do exist! My bathroom looks stunning! Thanks Mike! I ll be seeing you soon for my second bathroom to remodel.

Throughout the construction process from the plan phase to the completion of construction Mike Rendon was thorough and informative. He directed us through out the process with creative beautiful ideas so that our ideas came to life.

I am writing this review to prevent anyone else from experiencing what I have. I have filed a formal complaint with the CSLB which is leading into an investigation by CSLB. Check with them before you hire any contractor. I hired this contractor to help with a kitchen remodel. This contractor put a mechanics lien on my home even though we paid him for everything that was completed (and some things that were left undone). I decided to fire him and he claims that I still owe him for work that was not completed by him. He went through the house and tried to get more work using the by the way scenario. I paid for his work and he often referred to jobs he was paid for as favors He provided estimates and if I decided not to do the work, he claimed I was bound to the estimate as if it was a contract. BEWARE, contractors can put a mechanics lien on your property for a small filing fee without proof or review by any authority. The burden to challenge and remove it, is on the homeowner. If I could do this all over again, I would do much more due diligence and check out the contractor on line, check references and I would also get a work schedule with completion dates that coincided with payment dates. I would also demand change orders and if they were not provided, I would have stopped work.

He built a wine room with a built in cooler. He met all the timelines. All his work was quality work. I was pleased with the work.
