This man requires half the cost up front and says he can start in two weeks. Five weeks later he hasnâ t started. He hasnâ t called or text unless prompted by me for an update. Many other customers have had the same experience. Why would you leave him on your approved list.

We had this man come out and look at our backyard to put up a fence in September he promised us it will be done in 2 weeks. 3 months later he had done absolutely nothing but make up excuses. During those three months he told us he had to take his wife to the hospital, he was in the emergency room twice for high blood pressure, he had covid-19 twice, and a hodgepodge of other things. Such as he couldnt get the wood, and he was stuck at the dump all day. One time he said he had to go to the doctor he told us that at noon and at 6 at night he said he was still at the doctor. Do you know anyone who has ever been at the doctor from 12 noon to 6 p.m.? That was another day that he was supposed to come out and do our fence. We had given him thousands and we threatened to fire him and get our money back. Then, he came out and he put posts in but only posts. The work he did do was very good. But trying to get them to do the work was the absolute most stressful, horrible, disgusting, interaction I have ever had with anybody who claims to be a professional anything. Do not use this guy you will be sorry, wind up having a heart attack, disappointed, or sitting around angry for months, wondering if you will ever see your deposit (he requires 1/2 the money, up front) And if you dont heed my warning, make sure you write everything down and have him sign it. Also get a copy of his drives license because apparently, according to another poster, the address of his business --there is no business at that address. Get a copy of his contractors license. And get a picture of his tag number of his car. At least that way youll have an Avenue to track him down.

My mistake was hiring this company before I read all the negative reviews. I gave them a sizable down payment for material on the last day of September with the understanding that the job would be complete by the end of October. Today is December 28 and he just completed it...Two months later than he said he would have it completed. During that time, he had every excuse in the world why he wasnt doing the job. Upon completion he claimed I owed him $500 more than what my figures showed. They stood in my living room screaming at me and threatening to tear the fence down if I didnt pay them the extra $500... I paid them what they asked to avoid any violence. I am a senior citizen and quite frankly, I felt threatened. They also refused to honor the 5 percent discount for seniors that they advertise on their web site. Stay away from this company at all costs or you will regret it.

We hired this company 6 months ago as of this date the only thing they have done was install about 20 metal poles in my yard. We paid him 3 grand to buy the materials he said he needed. Since then it has been nothing but a fiasco. He has told us a different lie each week. . He told my husband it was about a 3-5 week job. Six months later no fence. We have had to hire another person to finish the work this guy started. And not even sure they can use the existing poles. I hope no one hires this company!! He is a liar and a horrible business person. We will be taking him to small claims court after the first of the year. We may not get any of that money back. But I hope if you read this you will find another company to install a fence or deck.

Let me say upfront, the workmanship is incredible, the deck is beautiful, and exactly what was promised. I believe the pricing was fair, and worth every dime. The customer communication, not so much. When the project was started I was in contact with them via text and by phone, they were responsive, and very accommodating. Once the deposit was paid, the communication was nearly zero. I called, and texted and called some more. The responses were then only by text, and not very quick on the response. i was told that the project would be done by a certain time and that it would take 3 to 5 days to complete... 3 months later, and after requesting the deposit back... the project was done in 2 days. When the final payment was due the constant communication started again. To reiterate, the workmanship is awesome, and the deck is stunning, and I am thrilled about that part.

He gave me his name as Lee Jarnigan, he promised many things, but never delivered. He required a 1000dl deposit on a 4000dl job. I was clear with him that I was at the time hiring him, chosen because he said he would put my new trex boards that I bought separately on to my deck floor joists ON TIME to be done for a big visit from my son and grand kids from Idaho. It was the grand kids first visit here. They came this past Friday into Atlanta airport around noon, but all the week before Lee said he would finish the deck before they came. Then came the excuses and the horrible lack of enough communication with him. First, he said he may or may not attend his "uncles funeral". The next day he felt "obligated" and over the next few days he said things were dragging at the funeral over "legal issues" and he had to stay longer. Nothing happened. On the families last day here Lee then said he could come that morning, but after seeing some blistering reviews on yelp and home advisor I realized that Lee has misguided priorities and because I could not trust him I then fired him before he started. I knew there was a good chance the completion of the job would be further delayed for any number of reasons, just like the reviews I saw, since I had already experienced that from him. I told him to refund my deposit. At this point, he said he "didnt have the money". I promised him that my attorney will be in touch with him with in a few days, if he hasnt refunded my deposit, since hes done absolutely nothing for me. He claimed to buy some materials, which I never authorized and wanted to reduce paying the full deposit back because of that. I asked him for the receipts and the materials, so that I could do that, but he shut down and will not take my calls or call me back. The address he gives online for the business if 419 Greens Lake Circle in Rossville Georgia, but its a residential house and its owned by someone else. I am concerned that I will never find him. Beware and save your money and stay away from this guy.

This person gave every exscuse under the sun as to why things occurred the way that they did. I contracted him to do a deck and a fence but I am now cancelling the fence because of the deck!! * I asked to use screws - he said his nails do not come out (already 40 sticking out because of warped wood) * I asked about leaving wood outside in the weather - he said he would move it if it rained, that never happened and most of the material stayed outside for more than 6 weeks (due to other delays he had) * Constant delays including (weather, wood shortage, personal issues, no team, vacation..etc) * Deck took over 5 months to build - no one ever stayed on the job site more than 3 hours. I cancelled so many dr apts and work meetings so I could be here to talk with him but they rarely showed up * workmanship was horrible - uneven cuts, warped wood, marking on the wood with sharpie!!, leaving saw blades and nails everywhere which rusts on the wood, no cleanup at all! *needed 75% of the money up front so he could buy material but then constantly complained that the material was not available * now that I have asked him multiple times about the craftsmanship, he has stopped responding and I am left with a partially finished deck that I have to fix myself

This guy collected half the money upfront, He did that in May, for a fence and screened in porch. I have heard every excuse there is, the latest being a nail shortage. But Lowes had nails by the bucket... So WTH! No one has worked a full day on our project and he has already asked my husband for more money...this is a nightmare!!! Do not hire this man!
