He gave me a quote of $120 rotor and $125 for an antenna for me and my mother. He installed an antenna I found at Wal-mart $29.95 with a rotor for both of us. He said he forgot to refund the money for the rotor he didn't install. I said I would keep the antenna if he would install a rotor and he said he would give me and my mother $50 each for the inconvenience. He then stood me up with no phone call twice and once with a late call. I had told him I was taking vacation to make time for him, So he said he would give me $100 each for not showing up. He did install the rotor on both and when the check didn't show up I added a comment about the $29 antenna and he said he was insulted and stopped payment on the check. He was nice to me in person but I never received any of his promises! No service, no money! My mother is 74 and I have to explain why this cost so much for so little. Just a con artist. Steve

After being recommended on HomeAdvisor, I called FamTek to "cut the cable wire" and have an antenna installed. Talking with one of the owners, Andrea, we set up a time for her husband, Anthony, to come out and install an antenna. The agreed upon installation price was ($559.15). Anthony did come out as scheduled and after reviewing my location, noted that he needed to come back at another time to do the install because he did not have the equipment for the installation required. The second time he came out, he installed the antenna on an outbuilding and after spending time trying to make the connection work, told me that I should try the connection out and let him know how it works. (Okay, I can do that.) When I called back a few days later and stated that the service via the antenna was poor, he determined that an extension pole would be needed and that would require an additional cost ($327.05). I reluctantly agreed, but was already into this project over $500. So, now a third visit and additional cost was incurred. After the second attempt at installation, within 1 week, the pole bent (yes, we had high winds but Anthony had assured me that the pole could withstand the elements). I have now reached out to the company 3 subsequent times and because this was an "act of God" and the ground is now frozen, an attempt to move the antenna AGAIN is the only option and I would need to wait at least 2-3 months for a resolve. After $886.20 and 3 days of interrupted work days to get an antenna, I am done working with this company. I learned an $886.20 lesson. I would definitely not recommend working with them.

I contracted with fantek systems for a home theater set up in my basement. It was a great experience during the time the actual work was done and they also promised a 6 month warranty on the work. I have had two issues since the installation and have called them up more than dozen times and left voicemails but they would never show up- couple of times, Anthony responded and gave me a schedule of when he will come and fix the issue but he never showed up! I would not recommend Famtek systems for any major home theater work based on my experience.

They were very friendly, did a good job on the TV mount, and helped to correct a technical problem the Direct TV person caused. They even offered to move a heavy piece of furniture back after the Direct TV person moved and left it. Very good customer service!

I generally try to DIY, but I went to FamTek for their expertise and experience to make sure I get an antenna that would work for my location. I would have gone through a lot of trial and error on this project, but Anthony got it done quickly and delivered exactly what I need. He even ran into some issues during the antenna installation including some bad storms that passed through. He powered through and got the job done.

Professional, easy to talk to and good at trouble-shooting. Let us know when to expect his arrival and brought a number of tools and items to help complete the fireplace TV bracket installation.

We requested an estimate online and FamTek called us within a couple hours. Came out 2 days later to give us the estimate, and installed the new antenna 2 days after that. We are able to pick up stations from Milwaukee with 10/10 bars of reception. So much better than our previous antenna. In a recent storm we lost many large oak trees, but our antenna stayed put securely on top of our house. Anthony was professional and courteous.

Everything about the process was easy. I was given a call the morning I put in the request. They set up a time later that week. The techs showed up on time, completed the work in less than 90 minutes and it was considerably less expensive than I had estimated. Really polite guys and they put up with my questions and comments. Would definitely recommend them!

We are very happy with the service. It did take longer then expected. One of the HDMI cords did not work so we had to refeed one, but overall happy with the work.
