The man came to my house, walked around inside for a half hour telling me nothing was wrong with my airconditioning. I knew that, I told him on the phone that I wanted him to go on my roof where the airconditioner is located to check out the system, coils, etc. I wanted him to do preventive maintainance. He agreed and told me he charges $65.00 for a half hour of his time. He stayed just long enough to collect his $65.00. He said to call him in January when it wasn't so hot out and he would go on the roof at that time. Needless to say I would not call him again.

On the first phone conversation I was told a unit as old as mine would probably have to be replaced. I asked for a price and was told $179. It ended up costing $275.00. My regular handy man had a heart by pass so he was unavailable. He always said everythuing could be fixed. I checked my ice maker this morning after at least 12 hours and there were about 8 cubes, I hope it improves
