Mike was quick to respond about his availability to do mold testing and conduct the same. However, everything, after he completed the testing, seemed to go out the door after he received his payment. My family and I were displaced from Hurricane Ida so every day out of our home waiting to repair is costing us money. Our contractor could not do anything without the air quality results. I had to continuously contact Mike for my results otherwise I would not have heard from him and he provided verbal results and promised written results thereafter. He also kept promising to drop off antimicrobial spray for me so that I could begin cleaning my home after Hurricane Ida. However, this has not been done either. He also promised a written report which also has not been completed. As a result, I went and did my own research and purchased my own disinfectants for my contractor to use. Would not recommend this company at all. Mike knows that our family was displaced and that time is money but does not follow up and complete his work after he receives his payment. It has been over 2 1/2 weeks now since his inspection and he has stopped responding to me and has never sent a formal report. BEWARE? would absolutely stay away and hire true professionals to do your testing.

After Hurricane Ida, we called several “pros” that didn’t follow up. Not very professional. Family Home Inspections followed up, kept their appointment and was thorough. The price was fair as well. When we received the report it was very detailed which was important to us.

Mike called within minutes of my search. He was able to stop by the same day and evaluate my situation. Gave me suggestions for my in-window air conditioners as well to eliminate any mold buildup. He explained the process for the next level for cleanup. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Told me upfront prices. Would highly recommend Mike and Family Home Inspection.

Very Professional followed all federal, city, and state guidelines to conduct a mold assessment. Provided a comprehensive report that wad thorough and straightforward making it easily understandable and made themselves available due to my immediate concerns and went above and beyond my expectations. Very upfront and doesnâ t sugar coat anything by telling you things are fine or arenâ t fine but instead details the specifics and explains what exactly he is doing when heâ s doing it to help better inform you of how to not only prevent the growth of visible mold but how to best limit the exposure to it and most importantly he wore proper safety equipment gloves mask and shoe covers and respectively followed all COVID-19 guidelines set in place. Mike knows what heâ s doing, heâ s got the credentials and the experience and knowledge and he applied everything in an unbiased mold assessment of my apartment for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend him and would suggest reading his reviews before considering others because he is clearly a well respected and reputable resource in the areas he specializes in and his work proofs that! Mine was very meticulous and honest. I appreciate him doing a whole inspection when I only had a few issues needing a check up. He was not in a rush and made sure he checked every floor and room! I would friendly hire him again!

Mike is absolutely amazing. We wanted our basement air tested so we can safely work there and he did all the tests and advised us on a number of things that have indeed greatly improved the air quality. He also volunteered to take a look through our house and he identified mold in our bathroom that I hadn't even seen! He told us exactly what to do to get rid of it and it worked. I highly recommend Mike.
