Very prompt response to my repair request! Quality work done in a timely manner!

Initial quote was lowered by two thirds when a more detailed inspection was done by the actual work foreman s evaluation of the problem. How often have you experienced that? Work was done over the course of two days, they cleaned up each day and solved my problem.

Randy and his crew were excellent. Randy was very concientious. Estimator gave an incorrect estimate.

Randy was the Project Manager, and I would absolutely recommend him and his team to others. The team was very professional, they provided options for fixed price or time and materials, and were right on budget for this $2,500 project that involved replacing ceiling sheet rock, replacing garage door trim and replacing rotted exterior trim around exterior doors and three car garage, sanding, repairing and repainting ceiling. They prepped well, used appropriate quality materials and paint, minimized disruption to the family, were on-time and cleaned up at the end of each day. Well done!

Matt and his group were extremely reliable and capable. They were able to quickly determine the most likely solutions to the problems and to give us a reasonable estimate for the amount of work we wanted to be done. Everyone we worked with was extremely upfront with their abilities and expectations for the project, and we were kept up to date with the progression of the work. The crew was constantly looking out for ways to help us save money on the project (letting us do the finishing work ourselves, for example) as well as ways to improve the house while the other work was being done (such as noting that it would be easy to jack one beam in the house to level the floor given the other work we were doing). We ended up coming in significantly under the estimate for the initial work and close to the original estimate even with several additions to the work. Everyone was extremely friendly and respectful, and it was a pleasure to have them around. We were very happy with the work that Matt and his crew did and would definitely return to them for future renovation projects!

The projects turned out great!! I had an accent wall completed and a murphy bed assembled. They showed up on time, ready to work, and did excellent, quality work. They've got awesome customer service. I would highly recommend this company for any of your home projects. Big or small!

My fiance and I bought our first home together in May of 2018. The house was livable, but nobody would want to live in it. Our goal was to buy a home that would not take up all of our time to maintain and keep looking good. We really liked the location and layout of the house, but weren't thrilled with how it looked. During the process of looking at this house, we called Family Ties to see if they would give us an estimate to bring the house up to the standards we had in our mind. Matt, the owner, came right out and walked the house with us. He was very up front about concerns he had with the home, and was also forthright about the scope of work needed. He gave us a ballpark estimate. The estimate was close to what we were expecting and had in our budget. We took a bit of a gamble and bought the house, hoping Family Ties could pull off the work to make our house the home we wanted. When the work began, Matt communicated well with us, keeping us updated on what to expect and what was happening next. We ran in to a few hiccups with the weather and the bank, but Matt remained patient and understanding. When it was all done, the entire house, as well as the outdoor paint and fenced in area for our dogs, came out even better than we anticipated and right at Matt's original estimate. I will be using Family Ties again in the future.

Family Ties is amazing and we would 100% recommend them to anyone. They are well versed in many areas and if not, can recommend and put you in contact with the right people. We had the majority of our old 1860 stone foundation repaired and re-pointed. This is a huge project, as our basement was leaking a lot. The crew was friendly and professional. The work is guaranteed for a year, which is more than enough time to fix any issues. So far, after every heavy rain, we get a phone call checking in and touching base about any areas that possible need re-touched. In addition, the owner Matt, noticed a gutter issue and suggested that we call the company that installed them to come back and alter them. Furthermore, we recently wanted to remove mulch around our house and replace with stone. Matt was willing to suggest ideas and also took time out of his day to haul over a ton of rocks to our house! We would 100% recommend them to anyone for any issue. Like mentioned above, if Family Ties is not able to complete the work themselves, they just dont leave you hanging, they will place you in contact with someone who can help you out.

Matt and his team were hired to completely gut our old farmhouse first floor bathroom. It ended up requiring also a complete re-wiring, re-plumbing, re-building of shower (gorgeous!) install stacked W/D unit, re-insulate behind all the walls. etc. Matt and crew also did a new roof on our farmhouse, solved drainage issues threating the outside foundation, and more. Reasonable, responsible, creative, on-time, dependable, competitively priced, and a complete pleasure to work with! Thanks Matt
