"Ken, we are so very sorry for the disappointment in your move. After waiting for over 2 hours for you to secure and provide the payment for the move the Movers spent that time chain-smoking cigarettes in the cab of the truck waiting for you. Both movers deny using any drugs but rather smoke cigarette after cigarette while waiting to unload your household items for over two hours. The Movers we had on site with you have worked together for several years and although they do have a native language that is rather harsh sounding to American ears they have never fought and choose to continue to work together job after job. We hope you have found the claims process easy to navigate as you do have insurance included in your move to cover damages. We are very sorry for your disappointment with your move."
"Dear Lance, we are so very sorry for the challenges we had delivering the final portion of your move. At the height of the moving season we did have some trouble delivering from WA to the East Coast we are sorry this impacted you and your family and hope you have settled into your new home."
"We are very sorry for your trouble. Your refund is on the way."
"Dear John, we are sorry for your disappointment with your move. The 2 tool boxes that the guys left on the truck were returned the day following your delivery. Not because you "hounded customer service" but because they drove 4 hours to their next delivery before they realized their error. The following day they turned the tractor-trailer around and delivered your toolboxes. Moves can increase in cost due to changes in inventory and splitting your items between two different states for delivery did make things complicated for both of us, but in the end, you only pay for the space your items take up in the truck. The final inventories reflected items that had been left out. The cost of the move only went up based on increases in volume. We are sorry for your disappointment."
"Dear David H., We are very sorry for the delay in the delivery of your items. Such a delay in delivery is extremely rare for Family Van Lines. Your items have long since been delivered and we wish you only the best in your new home in Portland."
