Honest review from a couple who almost gave up on a simple tub conversion. After two years in our home, we finally decided it was time to convert our walk-in shower into a bathtub now that we have a 1½-year-old. My husband went through Value Saver Magazine and contacted just about every bathroom remodeling company you can think of. We had five different companies come to our home for estimates before this one.
Honestly, almost every experience was the same. Every salesperson told us, "We're not like the other guys," then proceeded to give us an astronomical quote that magically dropped by a few thousands of dollars if we signed that day, left a Google review, or agreed to put a yard sign in our yard for a month. Even after all of the "discounts," the prices were still incredibly high for a basic bathtub conversion.
Then Scott from Fast Bath Solutions showed up.
We knew this was going to be a different experience before he even said a word. He took his shoes off when he walked into our home without us having to ask. Instead of launching into a long sales presentation, he went straight to the bathroom to take measurements and understand the project first.
Scott asked about our budget and unlike everyone else, he genuinely tried to work within it while still giving us what we wanted. He was personable, easy to talk to, and never made us feel pressured. With his construction background, he explained why certain things would need to be done in our home, which helped us understand the project instead of just listening to a sales pitch.
What really stood out, though, was that he actually listened to us. Once he understood that our biggest reason for doing this remodel was our young daughter, he started making recommendations based on safety and functionality, not upselling us on unnecessary features. He suggested corner storage baskets instead of traditional shelves so bottles and toys would be less likely to get knocked off, and he recommended installing the handheld shower head on an adjustable mount that can be positioned lower when we're bathing our daughter. Those little details made it clear he wasn't just designing a bathroom—he was thinking about how our family would actually use it every day.
For the first time, it felt like we were being consulted, not sold to.
There was no pressure to sign that day. No gimmicks. No countdown clock. Ironically, because of that, we did decide to sign. It simply felt like the right company to trust.
We're scheduled to be on the installation calendar within the next few weeks, and we've been told the conversion should be completed in just one day. Every other company quoted us 8–10 weeks before installation and 1–3 days to complete the work.
So far, Scott has been outstanding, and we're hopeful the rest of the experience will be just as positive. I'll come back and update this review after installation, but based on the sales and consultation process alone, Fast Bath Solutions has been a breath of fresh air. THANK YOU, SCOTT!
