Came over and accessed the problem, gave us choices, gave estimate and installed new waterheater the next day

Very professional installation, courteous and on time. Am supposed to get an inspection letter to schedule an inspection, I have not received this 3 weeks later, guess i will have to call them.

The installer was prompt, courteous, and professional. My only wish is that I wished they were able to accommodate a quicker date for the installation. Other than that, the installer had everything on the truck to provide a quick installation and he explained the operation of the new water heater to me as well.

Consider yourselves fairly warned: I was quoted $400 for a standard water heater install, and these guys charged over $1100. That's right - you read that correctly - that is not a typo - these guys charged me over $1100 for a standard water heater install and gave no explanation. The water heater itself was $518 and the total job, with install, was just under $1650. I am still working with 'a large Home Improvement store' to find out what happened. If I had been quoted $1100 for a water heater install, I would have asked the person giving the quote to check themselves into the nearest psychiatric ward, hung up, and then called someone else. I've installed water heaters myself before - I know what it takes. But wait, there's more - these guys left the property with the kitchen sink not working and without removing the old water heater from the property, which was part of the agreement with 'the large home improvement store. When asked about the kitchen sink, while still on site, the installer said, "I don't know. Call a plumber." We called the (heater company) office later asking about the kitchen sink and they responded the same. No back flush performed or anything. Honestly, if after reading this review in addition to some of the other very bad reviews listed on various sites throughout the Internet, and you still call these guys, you might be very desperate, and I wish you the best of luck, but you are likely to very much regret it. In addition to working with Home Depot, I am in the process of hiring an attorney to take these guys to court. I don't appreciate being pushed around. I feel like I was ripped off; and, then treated like garbage by customer service. I can't understand how this company is even in business.

Home Depot recommended the Fast Water Heater as its water heater contractor to me when I purchased an new Rheem brand there to replace my old one. Josh came to do the job and over charged the service work $400 more than the agreed amount. I called his manager to complain and the manager apologized for the miscommunication and agreed to return the money overcharged. Be careful about their service charge when they start your job!!!

When I called and got an estimate, the salesperson gave me the estimate for the water heater install. He said there may be a few other small chgs ie: permit fee. Turns out there was a 600.00 extra chg for an expansion tank, which I guess is quite normal now days. The old water heater was out and then I get told about the 600 extra fee. What was I going to do at that point. Tell him to stop work and not put the water heater in. The tech said I should have been told this up front, but I was not. The tech was very knowledgeable and did a good job (it passed city inspection) but when budgeting for a project, 600 is a bit much to be over budget. However, I do understand that the expansion tank will prolong the life of my water heater, so all in all it was OK.

Tim B did a great job explaining what he was going to do and then went through the new water heater functions after the install.

I am in the middle of a major remodel and have had an army of various contractors march through my home. Fast Water Heater is the only one who I would call qualified and professional. They treated my home with respect and cared about what they were doing, it was a good experience. I rated the value for the money lower since I hired them through Home Depot who got their commission however otherwise was never involved. Now that I know this quality contractor is out there I will go to them directly from now on.

Tim Showed up on time and got right to work. Protected my entryway and hallway from dirt and damage. The work was performed in a timely fashion (fast). Tim explained everything he was going to do and when finished he explained my new water heater to me. I recommend this company highly.

They were fast, just like their name says. The cost was double what was quoted but apparently there were a lot of "updates" that had to be done to install the water heater correctly. I must say we had no idea what it was like to have a working water heater. They were on time and on budget.

My water heater went out overnight and I woke up to water all over my garage floor. I submitted a Service Magic project request that morning and Fast Water Heater Company called me within 5 minutes. They were at my house by 3 pm that day. I received the best customer care from the scheduler on the phone and the installers that came to the house. I would definitely recommend Fast Water Heater Company.

I got a water heater replaced. Very professional service, they came at the scheduled time, they gave a complete estimate with all costs disclosed upfront and performed the job on time. Will definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to get water heater or other plumbing service.

Called immediately, came on time, did a very thorough job and did it quickly. Explained how to light pilot light. There were extras that resulted in an almost 50% increase in the original price--not happy about that but told they were necessary, which they probably were...just wasn't ready for the big price jump.

Service was great. Charlie was the Tech and he is very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the workings of a water heater. I really felt that I made a good decision about hiring them and will certainly recommend them to all my friends. We really appreciate good, honest personnel. Thank you!

I was initially told that I could charge the entire job on my AMEX card, but when they arrived to perform service I couldn't. Thankfully I had another card.

They did an ok job. They were the least expensive of the 3 estimates I received. However I did have some plumbing issues afterward. They explained that because of my corroded galvanized pipes, the corrosion could break loose & clog my shower valves. It did happen & I had to call a plumber the next day. It would have been helpful if they were licensed to fix the problem right away. Also the job initially failed inspection; in their defense I had a particularly fussy inspector. All it took was a phone call & the inspection passed the following week.
