Febex Moving & Storage

Picked up my belongings a week late, took 53 days to deliver only half of my things. They refuse to tell me where they stored my things in Dallas. They basically stole my life, nothing of value but to me. The customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. I have been hung up on, called a b*tch, etc. They refuse to take responsibility for the awful job and somehow they are allowed to continue to rip people off. The claims process is a joke, lowball the value of a persons life and memories.

They damaged and stole our items. Some of our items were taken out of boxes, stolen, and damaged. They showed up 3 days late for the move and stored our items in a damp warehouse and what was not stolen was molded. The worse experience ever!! If they offer to move your things for free, DO NOT DO IT!! We had at least $10k of damaged and stolen items and the insurance company offered us $280!!! I would move my furniture in a shopping cart before hiring them again!

They picked up my furniture on September 7th. They promised me three times to deliver my furniture and on the third time I called the driver and found out that my things were in a storage unit in Dallas. I ended up going there and having them load my things on a truck trust I paid for. When I unloaded my things I noticed several items missing. They tell me that they cannot locate my items and to file a claim. When I filled my claim I received an email stating that I am 586th in line!

Horrible company. A bunch of thieves. Incompetent.My pick up for out of state move was very very late. How about night time with not even a call saying they would be late. When I had to cancel my move, they LIED and said I was not home on a Saturday when I was and because of that they held my goods and charged me about $1,000.They should be put out of business. They are lying CROOKS!!!

Best professional moving company experience I have had ever, hands down. I am usually not the type leave reviews for any company unless its a terrible experience, but Interstate Moving Storage took care of me so I felt it was only right that I had shown my gratitude. From the initial conversation that I had with Scott everything just felt right. I had been planning this move pretty last minute since the team building my home in Seattle, Washington told me it would not be completed for 3 months beyond when it actually was. I moved from New Jersey. Scott accommodated me in ways I did not even think were an option. I was one week from my necessary pick up so I just knew I was going to here nothing but bad news for at least availability. He told me there was only two trucks available, since I was not that large of a move I could be coupled with another families move that was headed to the same area. It made complete sense so we went through a thorough inventory and he provided me the 2nd highest price I had heard from about 5 different companies, What stood out about his approach that led me to my decision was he proved to me I was quoted by brokers that did not even own any trucks. Another company said the same thing but he actually proved it to me, I thought the other company was just trying to say whatever to get me to go with them. My house was ready a week from pick up so I wanted to receive my things as close to then as possible. Scott stayed on top of dispatch with tracking the status of it and it ended up being timed two days after what he estimated as a best case scenario. Not gonna lie when I heard the worst case scenario I was skeptical but I trusted his expertise and it was pretty spot on. The last movers I had 2 years ago for my move from Minnesota to New Jersey was the worse experience you could possibly imagine. The quoted me $6,000 and went to $14,000 after being loaded. I would have bought new furniture for that. This time around I was quoted $7,000 and is did not go up one PENNY. I told Scott everything I had and he asked a few more detailed question to make sure I got everything and it worked out. The day the crew showed up I was just about completely packed up with all my boxes. They started with the heavier furniture. They wrapped up everything thing with their protective blankets and even helped with a few last minute boxes that needed to be taped. I ordered some pizza for them an hour into starting to give them a little more motivation and just as a courtesy. They were very patient and respectful. One of the things I also liked was the fact I did not have to hand them cash for the pick up payment, I sent a wire transfer. Overall it was a top of the line experience. I had no faith in the industry itself after that previous experience, I was on the verge of doing it myself but I am glad I did not. They give the moving industry a good reputation. I would use them again if I ever move again. I have Scotts number saved in my phone just in case. It all started with him. Thanks a lot Scott and Interstate Moving Storage!

Terrible experience. they first sent a truck that was too small, implied that I didn't give the estimator the right information on volume to be moved. As the new owners were in house measuring rooms, I was not watching Febex every move. The truck was too small. They then said they would be back tomorrow for the rest. We were heading out of town. lacking supervision they left MANY things behind. AS planned all household goods were placed in storage (I don't know where). Only when delivered did we get a idea of how much was lost, strayed, or stolen. Many, many household items were not among what was delivered. At this point we estimate that our losses range between $20K to $30K. As getting any response from this company is impossible, I guess we are STUCK unless a reader has suggestions.

I recently hired Interstate Moving & Storage for my move from Sacramento, CA to Naples, FL. I can tell you this, I am not new to long distance moves one bit, I've moved about 3 times cross country the past 6 years or so, and they were by far the best company I dealt with from A to Z. I used Mayflower and Allied for my previous two and of all those experiences, I was most impressed with this one. I guess a major part of why is because the experience with Interstate Moving & Storage I wasn't treated like a number. The rep I spoke with to setup my move was extremely patient and thorough in his approach. Their customer service department I dealt with was so courteous throughout the necessary communication in regards to arrange my delivery. Also too, I am recovering from a major surgery so I needed help with packing of the majority of my stuff. When I tell you they came extremely prepared, they came EXTREMELY prepared. I had a 4 bedroom home about 2800 sq. ft. so that didn't make it any easier on them. I was very happy they sent out at least three men to Pack and Load. I was going to have them take it to a storage of my own in FL but they told me they would gladly store my things FREE for 30 days and Re-deliver it all within the same price, I was pretty pleased with that. Especially since I'm wasn't the smallest move. They handled all my things very carefully and arrived with no damages. I have a lot of fragile pieces and heavy oak wood furniture not to mention a two story home. I can go on and on about how professional and amazing they were ,especially when you typically go with the assumption if you go with the household names your probably better off, but not this time around. My last move from Chicago, CA was with Allied and it was a nightmare. I paid over $15,000 when I was originally quoted $9,000 for that one without even having them help me pack. I ended up paying $12,000 after it originally being $11,500 WITH packing for this move and they did a phenomenal job. I would HIGHLY recommend them for any move. Another thing I was glad to hear was, they do Local in state moves in the event I needed to have them service my next one if I don't move out of state. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

DO NOT HIRE THEM. Great **customer service** from a Sales perspective (Scott S) but zero communications or follow up afterwards. 3 weeks after my pick up - I am still waiting on my stuff. And no one is taking my calls etc. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS.

They are a very good company at taking money, they are very friendly at first. They wont return calls, they would not tell me a delivery date, I can not have a response from anyone.

No communication, they lie to you, they do not do what they promise. They have had my things for almost a month now and they have not left California yet. Living out of a suitcase. Have not done one thing they said they would. BUYER BEWARE. DO NOT USE. ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY. THEY DO NOT CARE.

They were quick and professional. They did a great job wrapping and boxing my things carefully and nuke was very kind

2nd time using them. They packed and wrapped the fragile stuff. Put Blankets and shrink wrapped large items. Went smooth and good delivery. When we got to Florida they put all the big furniture where my wife asked then to. I only had to empty the boxes,,,That was nice!!! One of the guys was a chain smoker so we asked that he stayed outside. They had him doing the unloading of the truck so we were ok with that, he said he understood which was nice. He got two tips cash and a print out on how to quit smoking, we all laughed a bit

BEWARE Do not use this company literally the worst experience of my life. I sold by Scott in the beginning he seemed like a straight shooter so I took a chance. When we scheduled the move he said it would be easy but boy was it not. He said it would have a 2 day pickup window (not a problem) and when I told him what day we needed our stuff delivered he agreed. Also when our goods were picked up they added another $1000 dollars for a small handful of extra items aside from that pickup was okay. Well we ended up getting our belongings a week later then promised. We called daily and were lied to or just ignored by customer service. Apparently, they wonâ t deliver your goods until they have another job scheduled. THIS IS IMPORTANT AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN COMMUNICATED IN THE BEGINNING. Customer service rep said daily she would call be back and then blow me off. Would leave me in tears without giving me any help. Once our things arrived the issues continued. Was scheduled for a morning delivery and the truck arrived 9 hours late at 7PM- it took 5 hours with 3 guys to load the truck and they sent 2 to unload. It also showed up in a different truck so whoever moved our belongings packed them awfully and lost items. Every single box was smashed to pieces with countless ruined furniture items and even LOST items. Which was hundreds of dollars. The guys who unloaded couldnâ t get out of there fast enough. They had no idea they had to assemble anything THIS WAS THE WHOLE REASON WE CHOOSE THIS COMPANY. It was 11pm by the time the truck was unloaded so they assembled one thing and then left. THIS WAS NOT WHAT WE AGREED TO AND WAS A TOTAL SCAM. We tried to follow up about the lack of service and lost items and was ignored againâ ¦.

So the move went great. But more important is the human nature of the foreman. We were moving my Dad into a nursing home. He did not want to go at all and was very very upset. Not sure if I should mention his name but the foreman spent about 20 minutes just sitting with my Dad. He explained that his Mom went through the same thing 2 years ago. Than he shared pictures of his Mom at her new home. Playing Bingo, sitting and Laughing with her new friends and lots of smiles. He didnt have to do this, but it worked. My Dad calmed down. Wow was I blown away. Thank you.

I am still waiting for delivery of missing items over 2 months later. The worker on the front end was very poor in customer service. The delivery guys on the back end were very professional (except one of them tried unloading my huge dining table & dropped it off the truck!) Still being told they are working to find my two missing PCs but I have a feeling they were delivered to someone else and Iâ ll never see them. Discouraging as 1 pc is not replaceable. Still hoping they come through. Some individuals were great to work with, others just arenâ t.

Mike and team were very helpful with the move. Moving is always a stressful effort and the team ended up doing a great job... Worked very late and also very thorough in the job.

My experience was a good one. The overall move was good. Everyone was very informative.

The original person promise the work with me until my furniture until I receive it, but not heard from since. My pickup was 7/26 and 8/20 Iâ  m still waiting. Scott advised me to contact Jeff at Interstate moving. He did not respond to my email. I received calls from Shai requesting money but no return calls as to estimated delivery which was yesterday. Scott called questioning my one star rating and stated and I was on a recorded line saying he Did return my calls. It felt like a threat but no mention of the status of the delivery. He has referred me to others and said I must communicate with them. They finally called 8/17 and said the driver would contact me by 8/19 but nothing and the contact has not returned my calls. Scott also did not get my consent to record me either.

Initial communication with this company was great. I was told that the first person I talked with would be my contact the entire process. Prior to load day I was advised by a second person when loading would occur. On load day, one person arrived to load. He was very capable but we had to assist to speed up the process. After loading my belongings were moved to a wear house in Denver. In the contract they had 30 business days to move my belongings to final destination. After hearing nothing I contacted my initial person about any updates and was referred to a third person in Denver. That person said they are ?currently working the schedule?. After 3 contacts with this person over several weeks, they continued to use the same phrase. One night at 10:30 pm, I received a text from the drivers dispatcher that my load would be delivered the next morning at 9:00 am and I owed them about $800 in cash or postal order ! The driver arrived at 9:45 am the next morning and would not unload one item until he was paid. Luckily two helpers arrived to help unload. Initially I was told that a lot of their workers are ex-military and are paid based on how good a job they do. I didn?t realize they meant ?Russian military ?. They didn?t like taking unloading instructions from a female. Overall, all of my items arrived mostly intact. But communication with this company is terrible. And just about everything I was initially told turned out to not be true. No one from Febex ever asked me how well their employees performed. I have them 3 stars because my items arrived but I would not recommend Febex.

Move went better than expected. Pick up went great and drop off timely. We had some communication problems but everything worked out in the end.

Mike and his team were amazing. We were completely disorganized and frantic, but they came in and took over! They carefully wrapped up all of our furniture, and moved all of our beds, boxes and tables so quickly and efficiently! They wrapped and moved computer monitors, televisions, art, bikes, and fragile antique furniture and they treated it all with complete care. We were so grateful to Mike and his team for their incredible work. Highly highly recommend!!!

Everything went according to expectations. The movers got there early and brought coffee. Thanks, Scott!

After Talking to Scott we was able to come to an agreement to move me from Dallas to Little Rock. The movers showed up as promised and the service was above and beyond. I wish I could move more. I has an extraordinary experience.
