Called to have a disposal replaced in a house rental. I did not even think to ask for a rough estimate over the phone...how much could it be to replace a disposal (Insinkerator V) that costs $80? Maybe $250 on the high end? I got a call from the plumber stating it would be $485 for the job. I told them to forget it, then he started to lower his price. No thanks! I am not dealing with someone that could not give me his best price up front. Here is the kicker, a day later the tenant tells me that she finally figured out how to use the jam wrench and the disposal is working just fine! A good plumber would have unjammed the unit and called to say that it is fixed and the cost is just the cost of the service call. . On 12/30/12 I called Feehan Plumbing the evening to repair a leaking, non-functioning water filter assembly under the kitchen sink. The dispatcher was polite and after I expressed it was not a dire emergency I was scheduled for the next morning. The technician (Dan) arrived and after showing him the leaking area, he checked all of the pipes under the sink he explained why the filter was leaking and repaired it. I had also recently purchased a new 3 piece faucet for the upstairs bathroom. Dan was able to also install the faucet and replace the old valves under the bathroom sink. Dan was neat and efficient and charged us a very fair price.

Freehan provided a good price, great level of service and high quality installation. I removed 1 star for customer service because the humidifier they installed had the option of an external sensor being installed, which was only told to me after all the installation was done. I would have liked to have known that option up front, and would of paid to have them install it - but they told me as they were leaving.

They came out on time. Did what needed to be done. It was a messy job, I peaked in and saw the mess. When they were done there was NO sign of mess. They did a great job, completed on time and was just a smidge above the estimate because I wanted an additional pipe put in. Highly recommend these guys!! Very pleasant and professional.

The tile guy did an *excellent* job on our shower surround! We loved him! The plumber had a bad day - misunderstood what we wanted and left with a pipe seeping water, but the tile guy was able to fix that. They were willing to come do unscheduled work very responsively - disconnected sinks for new countertop install and gas dryer for floor install and reconnected them quickly when work was done. Our only complaint was they tried to get us to pay before some of the work had been done and once they were paid didn't return our calls or do the last bit (caulk around tile). If you hire them, make SURE the work is done before paying!
