I had been a customer of Fenix Pest Control for some time and generally didn’t have issues with their services. However, things went downhill when I decided to cancel. Per the agreement, I mailed a written cancellation notice to their Iowa City office on 9/19/2024. I never received a return letter from USPS, so I assumed it had been delivered. However, after receiving a marketing email on 10/4/2024, I called to confirm the cancellation. They stated they never received the letter and directed me to email the cancellation request instead. When I returned from a trip on 10/8/2024, I emailed the same letter to their support email. They replied confirming that my account was canceled. Despite this, my credit card was charged $61.48 on 11/4/2024 and 12/2/2024. When I called on 12/6/2024, I was told that the November charge was valid because they required 30 days’ notice to cancel (even though I mailed the notice on 9/19/2024). They also promised to refund the December charge.

We had a kid come and speak with us just after we purchased our house. I wasnâ t crazy about the idea but the kid sold me due to us never living across from a field. My mistake was not reading the paperwork prior to signing. I specifically asked if we could cancel at anytime. Was told we could do so, therefore, I signed. I tried to cancel the service today and have been told we are locked in for a year. Would not recommend this company.

Customer service is almost non-existent. I had fraud charges on my credit card and needed to contact Fenix to provide new credit card number for auto-pay. I called 3 times. First 2 times, I waited on hold for about 15 minutes only to be disconnected. The third call, I left a voicemail and never received a call back. Then, Fenix began email and texting requesting payment, as the credit card on file was now closed and wouldnâ t accept the charge. They continued to do this daily, which is laughable, given this was why I was trying to reach them. Iâ m cancelling my service, paying the early termination fee to avoid the frustration and continued waste of time.

This company is completely incompetent. Although they were supposed to be treating out home monthly, we found 10 wasp nests over the the weekend, one as large as your hand with over 30 wasps on it. They did not show up, did not complete service and we continue to have pests. DO NOT HIRE THEM. Now they want to charge a service charge for canceling, Terrible company.

Great company and customer service. Everybody is super polite and responsive. Their technicians are knowledgeable young people who listen, give recommendations and answer questions. But the most important - they really get you rid of insects inside and outside. It's our first month in several years that we don't see those stinky bugs, that lived everywhere in the house whole year round. So thanks again our last technician Alex and thanks Fenix. You are great.

Signed up for service Friday morning, was told they could do initial service that afternoon. Talon was my technician. Asked me about any specific issues, then explained what his treatment process would be for my home. Checked back with any questions I may have. Very polit and professional. Excellent experience!

Evan did a wonderful job, he's very knowledgeable, respectful and answered all my questions. I could't be more pleased with his service and hard work. I can now work in my flower beds without getting eaten alive by ants, wasps and other insects.

Our technician, Grant, and his partner did an excellent job. Everything went very smoothly. We will use Fenix again!

Very good about rescheduling if something comes up

This company is punctual, easy to work with, wants to be sure he customer is satisfied. The technician took his time to explain everything and was thorough.

I let what they sprayed on dry for 5 hours. When I went in I thought Iâ d see roaches belly up, I didnâ t. I seen a few crawling around. Maybe not seeing roaches means it is working. Five more treatments to go.

They do a complete and thorough job. They came out right away and assessed and treated. The issue is resolved but I am sticking with them for a year because I want the property completely free of bugs. Timmy was our technician and he explained things very well and was very easy to work with.

Polite and knowledgeable. Charged $240.00 for a 5 foot area. Destroyed 2 wasp nests. I thought I had ground hornets but it turns out the were wasps nesting under my eaves. I would have treated them myself had I realized they were not ground hornets. My mistake, I should have cancelled the service.

This company is cheaper than Orkin and offers more services. They can remove wasp and hornet nests and treat for mice and rats as well as spiders and insects inside and outside of your home. They will come back and retreat any problem area for free. My technician wore a mask in my house and was in and out quickly.

Our salesperson was a very polite young lady. She explained everything really well so we knew exactly what we were getting. The first service was completed within two days of signing up. Grant was our service technician and he was great. Super polite and did a very thorough job. Explained everything really well. So far, I'm very happy with the service and would definitely recommend them.
