Asphalt Shingle Roofing - Install or Replace
We chose not to go with Field of Dream Siding and Construction for our roofing job because when he showed up to take measurements, he didn't even get on the roof to look around. He didn't even go in the back of the house where he would have seen that there was a skylight he'd have to work around. All the other contractors who came to take measurements in order to make a bid, got on the roof and looked around. His bid was in the mid-range, so it wasn't bad, but I'm not sure what it was based on.

"I am very sorry you felt that way. I did walk around the back of the house and I did see the skylight. I included new flashing for it in the bid I gave you. On top of that I drove by the back of the house on the next street to get another look at it. I was able to get all the measurements from the ground to figure the square footage using the pythagoras theorem. Please don't think that I didn't care or that I didn't look just because I didn't get up on the roof. It isn't always necessary to climb the ladder to see the roof."

We really like the work Eric did. He was very prompt and capable of replacing our windows. He did so in a timely, professional manner. We are very happy about the work he did and will hire him again next summer for more of the same.
