experience was very good. no reflection on Fiels Appraising but prices for an appraisal in Rehoboth area ran $100 more than appraisals in suburbs of Philadelphia

"This gentleman was angry about an appraisal that was lower than he wanted as his sole purpose for having an appraisal was to attempt to use it as marketing for the sale. Our job is to give an independent opinion to help make a decision based on facts and reality. The value was $330,000 in our report and this gentleman went on to list the property for sale at $359,900 1 month after the appraisal. It sat on the market for 4 months and then he reduced it to $349,900. It sat on the market for another 4 months and then he withdrew the listing. This proves that our valuation was much closer to reality than his imagination. If he had used our information, he would have sold the house and been able to move on with his life. Furthermore, I asked him to provide better comparable sales if he thought ours were poor as I would have either incorporated them, or explained why they were not relevant, but he never sent any."

Gary Fiels went into my home to do the appraisal, but there was no point in him entering because he took all the information from the county, which was wrong. Therefore, his appraisal was wrong. In addition, he sent me the report electronically. When I told him I wanted a hard copy because I couldn't print the electronic version, he refused.

"Sometimes a customer is so difficult, so rude and so nasty, that there is no pleasing them. This was one of those cases. We tried to please Ms. Rita, but there was no hope. As can be seen from our other reviews, this is highly uncommon. All issues she had were fixed in the report (even issues that only existed in her mind)."

This is a small market with only a few providers. I went first with "biggest and best" and got terrible service and results leading me to Fiels Appraising learning once again.....biggest and often the worse. Good work by Fiels
