Thomas is a key player on my real estate dream team and my number one choice for home inspections. I am an investor who buys primarily small multifamily properties, which can be complicated to inspect due to the presence of tenants, all their belongings, and multiple systems components (electric meters, HVAC compressors, water meters). I trust him to go the extra mile to be thorough. He climbs on roofs and doesnâ t make excuses to avoid getting dirty checking out the crawlspaces. He checks every outlet and appliance. I like the convenience of the fact that he can do both whole home and plumbing inspections. Thomas is also experienced in construction and renovation, so he knows what to look for and will explain things to me as the inspection progresses. He patiently answers all my questions and is a valuable resource in identifying which issues in the home need to be addressed. To date, he has completed 3 inspections that aided me in making sound purchasing decisions and I will continue to work with him in the future.

I highly recommend this company! Thomas was very knowledgeable in his field and gained my trust instantly. I am in the process of purchasing a home in NOLA but am in South Carolina. I was unable to make it to the inspection; however, because he was so thorough and knowledgeable his report and the 80+ pictures made it feel as if I were there! I thank you Thomas for making at least one part of this stressful process a breeze! I highly recommend!!!!!!

Thomas from Fifth Generation Home Inspection has done two inspection in a row for me. He was very thorough and professional both times. His inspection reports are more then just a list of major issues, but also all minor issues, future concerns, and much more laying out a road map for what kind of preventative maintenance you should be ready to do as you move forward. Thomas found a major foundation problem with the first home I selected which saved me a ton of money and resulted in choosing a better home. His inspection of my 2nd choice identified a major issue in the plumbing which is now being repaired. For both major issues he used equipment which is not required for home inspectors. This is why I plan on using 5G Homes again, after all they have already saved me about 30k on foundation repairs! Thatâ ll pay for the next 60 home inspections.

Very passionate, knowledgeable and genuine.. I felt very confident in my home inspection. He didn t leave any stones unturned!!! Very detailed report and great pictures! I left an entire review on yelp but it won t let me copy and paste but I just wanted to say he didn t disappoint
