"This client spent insurance carrier funds given to them on personal leisure that were allocated to the construction of their home. They tried to get FTC to replace items on their home that were not on the insurance scope nor the contract. Whoever has used our company in the past knows that we send emails out to our clients at every stage of the process. We always communicate and all of our reviews clearly justify this. This client has not reached out to us concerning any work related issues. The roof was contracted on 10/17/23. The roof was installed 3 weeks later on 11/9/23. This was way ahead of schedule. Their contract had an estimated start date of December or possibly spring depending on weather. The siding on her home was not approved by the carrier and contracted until the end of February 2024, the middle of Winter. The reason the siding was not contracted for 3-4 months later is because that's how long it took to fight their insurance carrier for the approval. They had no gratitude for the work that was put in to recover the roof and siding funds, instead they tried to get FTC to pay for "pre-existing damages" to their home. The siding was completed in July. The client took 2 months to make a decision on some additional work they requested to have done that they originally tried to get us to pay for but we had photos of the area they stated we damaged prior to any work starting on their home. The photos we took at contract proved it was pre-existing. Of course they were not happy to hear we were not going to make the repairs for free once we presented the evidence. As soon as the decision was made to add the repairs to the contract with a change order, the siding started. We have complete record of all communication and time lines in our CRM and would be happy to share it to show that this client is making false claims and spitefully leaving a negative review because they are upset that we are pursuing money they spent from their insurance company and can't currently come up with to pay the invoice. Everyone who owns a business or deals with people on a regular basis knows these type of people. Entitled, unethical and immoral. We are not perfect and no one is, but we always address issues and complaints immediately. In this situation we did nothing wrong. If we did, why would it take this client nearly 6 months to leave this review... We will have this review removed in litigation when we recover the debt that is owed to us. Thank you for taking the time to read this and feel free to contact us at Office@finaltouchco.net."
