I requested a mantle for my fireplace. I needed it to be built, attached and finished. I was very clear about my wishes. What I got was a mantle that he built in my driveway. The mantle looks good and was basically what I wanted. He attached it, however, because my fireplace is stone and very irregular, there are gaps. After attaching he just said "there you go". I wanted to know about the stain and finish coat and he informed me "I don't do finish work"! I mentioned that was what I requested and that he had not told me he didn't do finish work. Now, I'm left to find someone else to finish it up. Will not recommend his services to anyone.

David did good work. Except for the fact that I now have an issue with his honesty regarding a check that he said was ruined in his Jeans in the wash. He asked if my husband could write him another check thinking that he did good work and seemed honest. Four months later my husband looked at his bank statement and saw that David had cashed the 1st check that was written out to him that he claimed was washed up in his Jeans. I was hoping that it wasnt David that cashed it because frankly I was misled to think he was an honest and hardworking person. We attempted to contact him several times after we found out the check was cashed thinking it must have been a mistake but there was no response. He even shut down his fine custom finishing Instagram account and deleted photos of all past work including some photos of work done on my home after I attempted to reach him. My husband attempted to reach him via email and phone to give him a chance to explain but strait to voicemail and no answer. I would give him close to 5 stars for his work but 0 for the calculated dishonesty. I understand there are hard times going on but thats for everyone right now. It doesnt give a person a license to resort to theft. Sorry that I had to write this review. I hope you are more honest with your customers because even though you do good work, it means nothing if you resort to dishonesty dude. Your business practices and honesty are going to be the thing that Carries your reputation and all I can say is that I hope you dont do business that way again.

He built a fireplace mantel and surround. I sent him a picture of what I wanted and he built it to fit my space. Fabulous job. On time and best price.

David did some really nice work installing 13 new pre-hung doors in our house. He did the job quickly and well and was very pleasant to deal with. He could have been a little better at cleaning up after himself, but it wasn't a big mess and therefore wasn't a big deal. Price was fair and consistent with other bids I received for the project. All-in-all, I would hire him again.

Did a really good job installing baseboards and door casing.
