These guys were awesome!! They were hired to install/replace my chimney cap and chase cover. Because there are multiple skylights situated as the base of the chimney, it was difficult to get proper placement of the ladder. But to their true professionalism and critical thinking, they were able to develop a workaround and got the job done. Their cost was very reasonable and comparable.

I am very comfortable recommending First Chimney Sweep. They were on time, polite, friendly, and efficient. They did a great job at a reasonable price. At my request, they were able to price some other work I was considering. First Chimney Sweep is now at the top of my list for fireplace or chimney services.

I called them and Justin and Jim were able to come out the same day and sweep and inspect our two chimneys. They were great to deal with. While they were here, they also cleaned out gutters the price was as initially quoted and was very reasonable. I plan to use them again soon.

Poor communication and not respectful of my time. My landlord scheduled a dryer cleaning. Jaime from FCS committed to email me (the renter) a time slot for the appointment, and invoice my landlord directly. Two weeks passed and he did neither one. I had to email him the day before the appointment. He emailed me back at 11pm to tell me I needed to be available 10am-1pm the next day (a Wednesday) - no apology or acknowledgment of the oversight/inconvenience. Then the technicians came and had no information about invoicing the landlord, so I had to explain the arrangement to them and then email Jaime - and again, no apology or acknowledgment of the oversight/inconvenience. Mistakes happen, but the dismissive nature with which he regarded my time and his own commitments doesn?t make me want to recommend this company to others.

They were fantastic! Jackie was the first person I talked to and she was responsive, had great communication and was very courteous! They arrived when they said, they did a fantastic job and were so polite! They cleaned the gutters, flushed the downspouts and cleaned all the debris!! Justin was the one on site working and he was great!!! I’ll be hiring them again in the spring!

The finest team told us what was good and bad about our two chimneys. They made recommendations and let us decide how much of the project to do in which part we could do in the future. There were a couple of safety issues that they found in one of the chimneys that I am so glad they found. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

Hired FCS for dryer vent cleaning. The owner was very responsive, gave us a great rate (half the cost of some of the other quotes), sent a tech out the same day as we accepted their bid. Tech arrived promptly, was friendly and professional, cleaned out years of accumulation in a flurry of lint. We will hire these folks again.
