Basements Plus was founded in 2003 by Steve & Amy Iverson with one clear goal: help Michigan homeowners make the most out of their basements. Today, our 80+ team in Commerce Twp, specializes in basement finishing, basement waterproofing, and foundation repair throughout Southeast Michigan. We believe a basement should be dry, structurally sound, & built with intention. That all starts with an education-first free consultation, where our team walks you through layout options, structural considerations, and budget options.

Had Basement plus put up the structuring, drywall and electrical for my basement. They did a fantastic job and work with me on the planning and timing. Overall a great experience. Only concern is the County Inspectors schedule are all over the map. Hard to pin down dates.

Jake was professional, hard-working and always showed up on-time with his crew. I heard great things about this company from a close friend, so I recommended them to my parents. They were very pleased with every aspect of the job! Even asked me write a review for the nice young man who insured they were well taken care of. Great stuff, Jake! Comedy of errors that did not seem funny at the time. The measurements the team took were off from the beginning and did not follow our architects design ie: blue print. Their inhouse designer was helpful and the electrician was great. Poor communication with the project manager who was confrontational. They crank out basements, and cut quality corners. Overall it was a struggle to get less than mediocre results. Would not recommend
