They and I discovered that I was missing a very important part to my doggie door. I had to order the part, consequently, The Finishing Touch couldn't complete the job at that time. So they were only able to install half of the project. They asked that I call them when the part comes in. I received the part, I called them and they came and completed the project. Plus, it was perfect workmanship! They were great!

Appliance (Microwave Oven) Installation and Replacement
The company contacted me and I gave them a description of what needed done. They replied that they are familiar with this work and know how to do it. I sent pictures of my exciting hood that was being replaced with the microwave it clearly showed the vent pipe going into the attic. They installed the microwave and when I tested it it seemed a little noisy. I opened the cupboard above the microwave and discovered the transition piece from the microwave to the vent pipe was not installed even though I showed them in the installation instructions provided with the microwave. I contacted them about this and I was not comfortable with the response. I had to hire another contractor to remove the microwave and install the vent pipe properly. I am not happy that I had to pay a couple hundred dollars more than needed to redo what I had originally paid for. I told finishing touch that there were no hard feelings but personally I didn't feel that they should have accepted the job.

He Asked for most money upfront - paid him $ 1000 for 10 hrs / he did less than half of the work ! The remaining work which- was then for 440.00 -with over 1/2 uncompleted - In my opinion I felt like he was wanting to check out cause the rest of the work due was not worth the money due It had been 2 weeks waiting for them to complete the job had to then hire a second guy to correct / finish his work with more labor charges: / He was overpaid for the work done for sure by hundreds of dollars !!!

We originally asked them to review and estimate one project and we ended up asking them to estimate additional work. The work was interrupted by bad weather but got done as soon as weather permitted. The workmanship was excellent and the results exceeded our expectation. This husband and wife team always communicated their schedule and were professional and a pleasure to deal with. They are definitely on our list to do additional work which we need to have done.

I got a garbage disposal installed and this company was very responsive, friendly and quick. They did a courtesy check and evaluated other things around the house to make sure they were in tact which was nice. The cost did seem a little high.

AJ and Laci are nice people. They got our job with the lowest bid, then needed more money to finish. We gave them full payment plus a little extra when the deck was done, with the understanding that they would come back and finish a small railing to go with short steps. That's when they disappeared. They said they'd be back when we called, then never came and then stopped taking or returning our calls. Months have now passed. Based on that, I'll never use them or recommend them.

"no sir, we never disappeared. there for a while there was always a conflict in scheduling us to come back and install the rail that has been built since the night we took the material. first the other guys were there working, then it was being painted, then flooring, then erika was out of town, so we figured you two would call when you were ready for it, and that's about the time all communication was lost. out of all the hard hard work we put in over there and countless hours over the weekend, we get 2 stars because of a rail? that's sad Tom"

This man came to my home and provided me with a quote. I paid him half down. $2500 and I have not seen him since. He has disappeared with my money.

"Traci, we have talked multiple times. I have not disappeared. A deposit is a non-refundable transaction. I used that money to purchase your materials and I had already started building your barn door and shelves. You chose to end our agreement and decided to go with another company after the fact. Calling me a thief in this situation is quite the stretch."

The contractor was not able to complete the task that I had lined out and they did task incorrectly. He also did not finish they left things half way done.

"I'm not really sure what this review is about. Which task exactly was it that was done incorrectly? We not only did one project for you, but you also had us come back to do more work. It was a lot of paint touch ups, which you provided the paint for and a small patch job in the garage. You even contacted us a few weeks later asking about my power washer because you were so impressed with it."

I hired this company to install new hardware in 2 bathrooms and a farmers sink for the kitchen. Amazing job! I then hired them to put in lighting and some electrical work. Once again, amazing job. Then I found out that the owner did customized work and so I now have a home that has been upgraded along with custom cabinets and customized mirror frames for the bathrooms. My home doesnt look like everyone elses home for a fraction of the cost. I love my new accent walls made with wood. They have the best ideas!
