The problem was the air handler for the unit. This led to two other problems. 1 The unit was located in the attic and the access to the unit had been built after the unit was installed and too narrow to accommodate moving the part to the ground. Secondly the contractor on the original install had installed a end of model unit so that the replacement parts no longer were compatible with the unit. Problem 1 led to the need to dismantle the handler and then cut into bite size chunks if you will to get it out of the attic Problem 2 meant that the base unit needed replacement as well because the new parts were not backward compatible with the old one. The job took 4 days and was done in the blistering heat of summer in the attic. The folks on the install team and Fire and Ice actual completed the whole process in record time and even adjusted the price downward to make the total install close to the initial bid. Understand that that bid was based upon just the replacement of the air handler and not on the subsequent problems that arose. We are completely satisfied with the professionalism , courtesy and speed at which the task was completed and recommend the company highly

Merchant quoted a $99 diagnostic fee; replaced a $20 +/- capacitor, charged $288 for the service call. Furnace worked upon completion of part change, but continued to work intermittently for following day until another service company did a full diagnosis and identified issue.

Good service, honest assessment I didn t need new pump as suggested by first company.

Super straightforward with scheduling and pricing on the phone. I was really impressed by the technician. He really knew his stuff. His advice was very practical and useful with my needs at the top of his mind.

He was prompt and determined my themostat was faulty and was going to replace. I told him i wanted one to do the same things my old one had done. He brought one from his truck. I read the box and it would NOT do what my previous one did. He said Oh, well i have another one in my truck. so he went and got that one. I read the box and it seemed to do everything. He installed it and then walked me through setting it. when he left he said if any issues, please call and we will get it resolved. He installed and I paid on January 28th. Later that night it hadn't come on as programmed. I took a photo of it and sent to him. No response. The next afternoon it came on about 1 1/2 hrs too early. I took a photo and emailed him at 1:56 pm on Jan 29. No response. On Jan 30 - same issue. No response. I also texted him to please see my email as the thermostat had issues. No response. On Jan 31 at 1:23 pm it was the same issue and I said in my email that I was frustrated he was not responding and if I didnt hear back I would call another company to resolve my issue and see a refund from him. I also text him to see my email. A photo of the issue was also sent. DO NOT USE. HE WILL NOT RESPOND TO FIX PROBLEMS!!!

Heat out Repairman cane within about 12 hours which was fine. Nice knowledgeable repairmanIt was an easy fix. He told me my furnace was in good shape. Good experience

They ran new HVAC wiring and installed an already purchased a smart thermostat. It was such a relief to find someone that was reasonably priced and worked within our budget. Randy was very conscientious about any concerns that we had regarding any hole locations or exposed wiring in our home. We worked out the perfect solution with him and are very happy!

Nice guy, did his work quickly and well. Only issue was water heater had to be turned on by someone else afterwards. I would recommend Fire and Ice and plan on calling on them in future. They replaced our panel board for $800, where we had been given a $3,000 estimate by someone else over the phone. Not sure though if this $800 one is new. Hope so.

Allen was on time. Started the project right away. Did a good job installing and programing the nest thermostat.

Randy, came into our home and treated it as if it were his. Our furnace went out the Friday after Thanksgiving. Our home was getting colder by the hour. We called Fire & Ice. I spoke to Randy we texted back and forth a few times.. Scheduled an appointment.. He arrived on time and finished ahead of time. Our furnace was 30 years old,& we needed a new one 😩. We love our new furnace, Randy serviced our A/C for minimal fee.He left our garage in better shape than he found it..Lol.. Holiday decorations, lawn pillows were neatly stacked. He went over and beyond for us.. Service was great, we have heat & we highly recomend Randy.& Fire & Ice Thank you!

Randy was extremely helpful. He installed my Ecobee and had to work out a few issues with my wiring (older home).
