This team of very knowledgeable guys came the SAME day I called and stayed until 9:30pm to finish the job. For my family, having our chimney cleaned, inspected, and liner installed was an emergency and they saved the day. As a small family owned business they understood what we needed and the impact it would have on my family. They explained everything and worked hard for a reasonable price. It couldn't have been a more positive experience. Thanks guys.

Luis was very responsive, came out when he said he would, gave a very fair price. He was able to find creative solutions to some surprises during the project. He identified a few other repairs that I would not have known about without walking on my roof. I look forward to working with Luis in the future!

They came, they saw, they conquered. They were professional, courteous, respectful, and did a great job. They also explained and helped us document that the chimney had not been cleaned in years based on the amount of creosote in the chimney. They also repaired the flu, which had been stuck open the entire time we lived here (1.5 years). We hadn't known that. Whereas our landlord was lying to us about the chimney being inspected, these guys told us the truth and documented for us. They were a little late and had already rescheduled, but they didn't charge us extra for fixing the flu and called it even. They also were in the coldest part of winter, so it makes sense that they had a lot of business and had to reschedule. Overall, GREAT GUYS.

Luis and his crew (Chris and Mason) were excellent. My chimney had been "repaired" numerous times in the past by other contractors with temp fixes (none worked), no other contractor (excluding Luis) even suggested repairing the chimney the correct way. The correct way, included... chiseling off old stucco that was used as patches (completely covering the 9 foot wide chimney) and then grinding and repointing three sides from roof line to the top of the chimney. There were thousand of cracks in the old mortar and the patched stucco was also leaking, leaving pocket of water between the stone and the stucco. The stone chimney is now back in its original condition...looks new and is no longer an eye sore. I trust all the leaks have been fixed. And the work is guaranteed... Yes, I would hire Firefighters Chimney Service again, we are already discussing some additional work in the fall. I wish other contractors were as professional, curious, and ethical as Louis and crew.

I am very happy to have found Firefighters. They repaired my chimney and fireplace after several contractors said that it could not be done for less than $10,000 and tried to talk me into purchasing an insert. Firefighters charged me a third of that amount. They were very professional, reliable and trustworthy. I did not hesitant to leave them in my house when I was not there. Luis is extremely knowledgeable and has had many years of experience in chimney and fireplace repair. He explained the whole process to me with pictures and went over the procedure step by step. I liked that he answered my questions and showed me his work as he went along. When he ran into a few problems, he was persistently diligent until he figured out what the problem was and was sure that we both were satisfied. He strives for perfection and takes pride in his work. Both men worked well as a team and cleaned up every time they left.. I have recommended them to several of my friends and will have them come back to clean my chimney each year. I am happy to say that I had the best fire in my fireplace last night.

This is a company that stays on top of things. We had them scheduled to clean our chimney, and a big previous job delayed them due to circumstances beyond their control. I was contacted immediately prior to our appointment time, to let me know what was going on, and was given the option to have them come later in the day or reschedule. I chose to have them come later and they did exactly that. They did a good job and even took money off the bill for their being late. They answered all my questions and concerns while there and even discovered an issue during inspection, that we didn't know existed. They showed my husband and explained the entire thing to him. I will be using this company again and again.

We had somewhat of a challenging situation. Our draft was inadequate due to several factors. They systematically fixed each issue and now we are drafting well. They explained each step and did good work. We avoided a larger expenditure due to their step by step approach. I will use them again.
