One Time Interior House Cleaning
Paul is a very nice gentleman and I would not hesitate to hire him again. I stayed out of the way of Paul and his brother that he brought along at no extra charge, Kevin was a very nice man as well. I showed them what I wanted done, 2 bedrooms, 31/2 baths, kitchen, dinning room and family room area and a separate living room. The quality of the final product was not as clean as I had hoped for. However I did not check till after they were gone. Paul will be back and perhaps Kevin too, the next time I will walk along with them and make sure I get things done the way I need them to be.

On first call Paul assured me that he was detail-oriented, so I hired him. He cleaned my home about 4 times over two months. One time he did not show up at all and didn't apologize when I called him to find out what was going on, though he did agree to come 2 days later. Large portions of rooms were left simply untouched--bathroom floor, mirror, kitchen counters, etc. I thought maybe if I left him a note specifically and politely requesting these important details he would improve, but he simply ignored my requests! When I called to complain he told me I was "picky" and criticized ME for how I care for my pet ferret--as if that has anything to do with his job. Talk about poor customer service and not taking responsibility for his work.

"I showed up every time I was supposed to, which was every other week. When the customer left a list, I always did what was requested. The place was always a total mess and flithly. Her ferret roamed around freely and would crap all over the house. The customer would never pick it up, it was always left for me to pick up, which is disgusting because I was only there every other week. The feces is embedded into the carpet. She is only writing a bad review because I said something about the ferret feces."

Two men came to clean my house that was fairly dirty from a part the night before. After an hour and a half they left the house with the floors still very dirty, dirt in furniture I asked them to clean and grey film on all of my dark granite. We are worried that this company may be a scam. I refused to pay their bill as they did not provide the service I hired them for.

"My brother and I went to the house as arranged. When we walked into the house, our shoes were sticking to the floor when we walked. The client wanted us to wipe down the kitchen counters, clean 2 bathrooms and wash the floors. We had to change the mop water several times because it was so dirty. I was never asked to do the furniture, it was all in another room in the house. I did wash the dirty dishes in the sink, even though I was never asked to. The client left when we were there. I called her when I was done. She said to send her a bill and she would send a check. She called when she got home and said that the floors were still sticky and she took pictures. I offered to come back and redo the floors. She told me no and that she was not going to pay me. I feel that she wanted her house cleaned for free. My business is not a scam. I have over 40 years experience. I have several clients that I clean for weekly or b-weekly and I have never had any complaints. They are all very happy with my work."

Paul was very easy to work with, on time, did the job quickly and was reasonably priced. The biggest negative I have is that he left the carpet in our main living area (which was the largest in the house) very wet. We had to use our own rug shampooer to remove the excess water and it still took overnight for the carpet to dry.

First Choice Carpet- Maintenance Cleaning did outstanding work! In addition to cleaning our bathroom tile we had our toilet bowl expertly aligned, sealed and back in proper working order. They did a great job and were very prompt, polite and a pleasure to have in our home.
