First Choice Water Treatment and Well Service

We recently moved to Orlando and noticed the bad water quality right away. It took us a while to get started on this project. After getting 5 quotes from various companies, we decided to go with First Choice. Mike, the owner, personally came out to test our water, provide excellent information, and ended up giving us the best quote. He was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly, refraining from talking bad about the competition. He listened to what we wanted to accomplish and did not try to sell us something else. We decided on a City Water Treatment System with carbon filter and softener, as well as a tankless reverse osmosis system for under the kitchen sink. The entire process was very smooth. First Choice even installed a new outlet outside the side of our house to connect the system to and ran a separate connection line from the reverse osmosis system to our refrigerator. We are very pleased with the quality of the water and the amazing service Mike and his team provided. They installed our water softener a few years ago and did an amazing job. Play Elsa bottles, reverse osmosis tank under our sink in the kitchen. We recently had an issue we thought maybe lightning struck it. It was not functioning and we could tell because the water is terrible. I reached out to him to ask for a repair. He came out and fixed it so fast. It was just the power cord. What a blessing because he did not even charge me for the repair. We definitely recommend him!

Well repair/installation contractors are everywhere. People always want honesty, reasonable prices, and easy follow up after the job is done. Mike is your guy. Didn’t try to sell me things I don’t need. I told him what I thought the problem was and showed me the real problem. He could have taken my word and fix what I thought which was expensive. Nope, he took care of the issue very quickly and was on his way. Very good guy as well, Friendly, personal and experienced! Don’t go anywhere else.

Think TWICE before you choose First Choice! We got a new water Softner system from them???.they dumped the salt out of the old system all over the yard! It killed our mature privacy shrubs and grass. After a month and then another-Mike the owner never showed up or pay for the damages!

No. Called him 5 times because my chlorinator pump stopped working. Rust in my water. He installed water softener but never came back to fix my rust problem. Not a message,text. NOTHING! Terrible customer service!

Arrived the same day I called. I thought I needed a new pump for my inground pool which would have been $2,000. He diagnosed the problem and was something simple. In reality, he could have charged me to replace the pump. I appreciate his honesty and promptness.

Mike came to my Townhome as scheduled. He was very friendly and willing to take the time to discuss the water treatment system I had in mind. He informed me that including the water softening component would be beneficial in addition to simply providing filtration. We discussed the desired location (in the garage) and optimum arrangement of the equipment to facilitate access to and from the vehicle in the garage. The Townhome garages are so small, every inch of free-space is critical. Mike was sure to economize on the foot-print of the installation; which was very much appreciated upon completion of the work. Mike offered to test our city water, and revealed, as we suspected, it would benefit from the system he recommended, since chlorine levels and dissolved solids were quite high. Upon choosing his service Mike went out of his way to acquire the salt-bin size we desired. To our delight, he arrived earlier than expected and went right to work. As we previously planned, he installed the equipment so that it was out of the way, and added a spigot so I could wash the vehicle with treated water (to avoid water spots), added an outside spigot to water plants with un-filtered water, and replaced the exterior water supply line shut-off-valve with easy access to a valve inside the garage. Mike even installed an electrical line from the fuse box for a new receptacle adjacent to the filter system. When Mike was finished everything was swept clean and the final piping installation looked better than I would have imagined Before Mike left, he showed me how to shut off the filter system when leaving for an extended period of time. I am very pleased with Mike's workmanship and professional manner, and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to have a water filtration system installed in their home or office. I was unable to get a return phone call from companies that I left messages with so I submitted my request on Angiâ s. 10 minutes after I hit submit I got a call from Mike and, after some discussion, I decided to hire them to replace the inoperative shallow well pump for my AC system. My discussion was very friendly but professional at the same time. The work was done quickly, within an hour of his arrival.
